Synopsis
Jayjay is just a normal girl with an extraordinary dream — to meet the boy who unknowingly became the brightest star in her universe: Joshua Hong of Seventeen. Through late-night vlogs, fangirl diaries, and endless daydreams, Jayjay tries to bridge the gap between her world and his. She shares her hopes, laughter, and little lies — pretending that one day she’ll meet him, even though she knows it’s nearly impossible. But as she learns, being a fan isn’t just about admiration — it’s about hope, heartbreak, and finding pieces of yourself in the people you’ll probably never meet. Yet sometimes, dreams have strange ways of finding reality. What happens when one small decision — one message, one chance encounter — starts blurring the line between the screen and the world beyond it? Because maybe… the stars she’s been chasing are a little closer than she thinks. (#Fanfic #Seventeen )

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Manifesting a Dream

Well, let me introduce myself — I'm Jayjay, short for Juliana James — and today I'm going to achieve my long-awaited dream. My dream of meeting the boy band Seventeen, and my bias Joshua Hong (aka Hong Jisoo).

As a Carat, I love all of them, but Joshua has occupied my heart a bit more than the other 12. Even our names start with the letter J, which kinda makes me happy. Shhh, don't tell anyone — it's my secret.

You must be wondering why they're called Seventeen when there are just thirteen members, right? Lemme explain — there are 13 members, divided into 3 units: Vocal, Performance, and Hip-Hop. And together they make 1 team. If you add those numbers — 13 + 3 + 1 — it equals Seventeen. Hehe, quite interesting, right?

So viewers and my fellow Carats, come with me to—

Before Jayjay could finish her sentence, she heard a knock on the door. She immediately stopped recording and hid the camera in her drawer. Then came her mother's voice,

"Jayjay, who are you talking to at this hour? Quickly come down, it's time for dinner."

The sound of footsteps faded down the hallway.

Jayjay's smile slowly disappeared. Everything she had just said in her video was a lie. She wished it were true — wished that she really was meeting them — but it was all something she made up. As a normal fan, it's never easy to meet idols or singers. She just thought of making it… you know, manifesting it.

With a small sigh, she got up and headed downstairs for dinner.

As Jayjay headed downstairs, she whispered to herself, "Maybe one day, Joshua will know my name too."

But for now, all she could do was dream.
