Rowan was still buried under shattered beams and cracked stones. Gilbert was still tangled with him. The impact earlier had left them both motionless. The pain was unbearable. Both of them had lost the strength to even move.
Though Rowan couldn't move, he could still see what was happening before his eyes.
Logan dodged the orc's attack and joined the hunter who still remained standing and fighting.
But they were getting cornered. It was clear that they would also be trampled if help didn't arrive soon.
And then, the very thing he feared would happen… actually happened.
Suddenly, the orc dodged every incoming attack and punched the third hunter hard. He flew back like a ragdoll and slammed into a building.
Then it kicked Logan with full force. Logan suffered the same fate as the hunter. He was sent flying and crashed into a wagon, breaking it apart.
The orc strode toward Logan.
It was clear what its intention was.
Rowan panicked. He didn't want Logan to die like this.
