Chapter 224 - Chapter 224 : Three Kage Escape!

Before deciding to make an enemy out of Uchiha Haru, they had quietly gathered intelligence on his previous battle with Pain.

It was said that Uchiha Haru had wielded Susanoo, one of the Mangekyō Sharingan's pupil techniques.

The towering black figure, blocking out the sky and sun, exuded an overwhelmingly desperate aura. The long spear in its hand inspired awe and dread in all who saw it.

Yet now, they had not even forced Uchiha Haru to summon Susanoo.

So far, Uchiha Haru had only employed exceptional taijutsu, Wood Release techniques, and some common ninjutsu.

They all knew Haru's true power far surpassed what he had revealed.

The Third Tsuchikage Ōnoki, Chiyo, and the Fourth Raikage stood together, silently pondering the same question: do we really have to keep fighting?

They couldn't hold out much longer.

At that moment, the Uchiha Haru before them suddenly smiled.

"I've been toying with you all this time, always outnumbered. Now, I'll let you feel what it's like to be on the losing side."

With those words, multiple copies of Uchiha Haru began appearing one after another, their numbers growing exponentially.

The ninja coalition's three Kage-level strongmen were soon surrounded by nearly a thousand Uchiha Haru clones.

Wood Release: Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!

They had seen powerful shinobi use large amounts of chakra before.

They had witnessed the Shadow Clone Technique used in battle.

But to summon so many clones this quickly?

There was only one explanation: this was no ordinary technique.

The three tightened their brows, their bodies tense and alert.

Though clones created by the Shadow Clone Technique are typically far weaker than the original—fragile and easily dispelled upon contact—they had to remember who they were facing.

This was Uchiha Haru.

No matter what abilities he used, nothing was predictable.

Ordinary shinobi's Multiple Shadow Clone Techniques might lack force.

But with Uchiha Haru, everything was uncertain and potentially lethal.

At Haru's command, all the clones surged forward toward Ōnoki, Chiyo, and the Fourth Raikage.

The three Kage-level strongmen of the ninja coalition hastily retreated.

Surrounded by so many Uchiha Haru clones, they felt completely overwhelmed and uncertain.

But they must not forget: they were now inside Haru's Wood Release domain.

Every tree here was an extension of his body—his hands, feet, eyes, and ears.

Wherever they fled, the trees themselves joined the assault, hindering their movements and slowing their escape.

Meanwhile, Haru's clones rapidly closed in.

Before long, all three shadow-level strongmen were knocked down and captured!

Uchiha Haru walked calmly toward the fallen warriors.

He gazed at Ōnoki, who lay unable to rise, then turned to Chiyo and the Fourth Raikage.

"Tell me, why have you suddenly united to target Konoha?" he asked lightly.

When he was still in the Hidden Mist Village, he had already sensed something unusual about this matter.

But he hadn't dwelled on it much—after all, he had the strength to overcome any obstacle.

Now, with the three representatives of the ninja coalition lying before him, what did he want to know? He would just ask outright.

"Uchiha Haru!"

The Fourth Raikage lifted his head, gritting his teeth as he uttered the name.

When his brother Killer Bee was captured by Haru, he swore to exact revenge someday.

He never expected that even his own intervention would fail this time.

Though ashamed, he couldn't help but admire Uchiha Haru immensely.

This was the first time in his life he had seen such an overwhelmingly powerful shinobi.

"I can't believe the Uchiha clan has produced another warrior like you!"

Chiyo's voice trembled with emotion.

The Sand Village and Konoha had always been allies.

But after Orochimaru killed the Fourth Kazekage, their Usagi Village attacked Konoha under misguided orders.

They had made an irreparable mistake.

So they joined the Ninja Coalition, fearing Konoha's retaliation.

Now, however, she suddenly realized they were wrong.

Had they chosen to side with Konoha instead of the coalition, their fate might have been far less tragic.

But everything was just destiny's cruel game.

Ōnoki's face was conflicted.

As one of the oldest shinobi alive, he had seen the Uchiha clan's greatest warriors.

Now, Haru's presence instilled a deep, primal fear in him.

"You don't want to speak?" Haru asked, his tone calm and unreadable.

He showed no signs of satisfaction or anger at the silence from the three shadow-level masters.

"It's pointless keeping you here. Go on... die."

As soon as the words left his mouth, countless wooden spikes erupted from the ground, piercing the three Kage-level strongmen of the Ninja Coalition.

In an instant, their bodies were riddled with these spikes, blood pouring from their wounds, and they died on the spot.

Nearby, the ninjas of the coalition couldn't help but roar in fury at the brutal sight.

These three—no matter which village they hailed from—were highly respected and prestigious figures within their respective shinobi nations.

Now, they had all been slain simultaneously by Uchiha Haru.

That ignited a fierce anger in their hearts.

But what use was it?

They were merely ordinary shinobi.

Even a Kage-level powerhouse had fallen so easily to Uchiha Haru—how could people like them stand a chance?

All they could do was let out frustrated, powerless roars.

Thus, the thunderous battle came to an end.

Nearly all the shinobi of the Allied Shinobi Forces were either killed or trapped within Uchiha Haru's sprawling tree domain.

The representatives from the Hidden Cloud Village, Hidden Rock Village, and Hidden Sand Village had all surrendered.

Everything was resolved.

The Konoha side hadn't even sent a single person into the fray—they only watched from afar while Uchiha Haru single-handedly handled the entire conflict.

When it was all over, the people of Konoha could hardly believe it.

They had expected the day to bring their world's end, yet without even lifting a finger, it was suddenly over.

It felt surreal, like a dream.

Among the Allied Shinobi Forces, Uzuki Yūgao stared ahead with a distant, glazed expression.

She suddenly recalled her meeting with Uchiha Haru before the war began, and what he had told her.

A faint smile flickered across her usually cold face.

She gently clenched the kunai hidden on her person—engraved with the Flying Thunder God Technique's symbol.

So he had reached this point.

So as early as last night, he had decided to face all the Ninja Coalition members alone.

He had known he would win this battle.

Yet he still chose to tell her this.

Thinking of this, Uzuki Yūgao's cheeks flushed faintly.

The same was true for Kurenai Yūhi.

As the official kunoichi of the Hidden Leaf Village and as someone close to Uchiha Haru, only two words filled her heart: pride.

Watching her man dominate the battlefield like this was a feeling even stronger than if she herself had fought and killed the enemy.

Other ninja faces also shone with admiration.

Though the war was over, no one yet dared to celebrate.

Only after a brief moment did someone in the crowd start cheering.

Then the cheers grew louder, spreading throughout the ranks.

Victory. They had won.

Jiraiya, Tsunade, Kakashi, and the others smiled with relief.

They had been under immense pressure from the Ninja Coalition for days, constantly on edge.

Even in sleep, rest was elusive.

But now, it seemed at last they could finally rest easy.

Uchiha Haru still stood there.

He hadn't left for the Hidden Leaf Village's camp.

Because he knew the war wasn't truly over yet.

Back when the coalition had been fighting him, he had noticed several powerful forces spying on him.

But he had not acted until after killing the Third Tsuchikage Ōnoki, Chiyo, and the Fourth Raikage.

Now, he fixed his gaze on the direction where those hidden figures lurked.

He waited for them to come out on their own—or else he would hunt them down one by one.

Sure enough, a moment later, a transparent vortex appeared suddenly on the battlefield's quiet stage.

From it, several figures emerged.

Each wore a black robe embroidered with red clouds, marking their affiliation.

The Akatsuki.

At the forefront was the masked man.

Next to him stood Orochimaru, Deidara, Sasori, and Kisame Hoshigaki.

But Uchiha Itachi was notably absent.

"Orochimaru… you still dare show your face?" Uchiha Haru's voice was calm but cold as he stared at Orochimaru.

Orochimaru suddenly felt an intense chill, as if Uchiha Haru would materialize beside him in the next moment.

It was suffocating.

Yet, having dared to appear before Uchiha Haru, Orochimaru had his own confidence.

"You removed the Flying Thunder God Technique mark I left on you," Uchiha Haru said, noticing something unusual.

He also knew why Orochimaru dared to approach him so brazenly.

Orochimaru smiled, "You noticed?"

"You should be a little surprised. Not everything in this world can be controlled by you."

"Oh?"

Uchiha Haru remained composed.

"Do you think standing with them protects you from me?"

His voice was calm but carried an undeniable aura of dominance and authority.
