The cave was pitch black, thick with dampness and a faint, fishy stench lingering in the air.
There was no doubt this was Orochimaru's favored hideout.
The secret bases Orochimaru had hidden in before, which Uchiha Itachi had once explored, shared this very same eerie atmosphere.
Uchiha Haru opened his Mangekyō Sharingan, and his eyes instantly glowed blood-red.
At that moment, everything around him seemed to shift and sharpen.
The Mangekyō Sharingan was an extraordinary evolution of the Sharingan, granting terrifying insight, observation, the ability to copy techniques, and potent genjutsu.
Among all its powers, Haru's strongest was his illusion techniques.
Of course, his other abilities were no less formidable — after all, this was the Mangekyō Sharingan. Even its weaker powers were still deadly.
Suddenly, a flicker of satisfaction crossed his face.
His luck wasn't bad this time.
In the next instant, his figure vanished without a trace...
Above the Hidden Leaf Village, Uchiha Haru faced Uchiha Madara.
Madara's eyes widened, his face etched with disbelief.
He could hardly comprehend how he had lost to this younger Uchiha, even though he had planned every detail meticulously.
Haru had allowed him to perform his ninjutsu unhindered.
Madara had successfully unleashed his most formidable technique, one he took immense pride in.
He had believed no one could withstand such a terrifying jutsu.
But he hadn't expected Haru to counter it so calmly.
This ninja, decades his junior, wielded a power so fearsome it shook Madara to his core.
Madara had hoped that this rebirth would let him rewrite fate and accomplish unfinished business — yet here he was, defeated.
Fate truly had played a cruel trick.
Below, Hashirama Senju soared on a massive wooden dragon.
"Madara, please stop this," Hashirama pleaded, addressing his old friend.
Madara looked up at Hashirama, a bitter smile curling his lips.
"Yes, with your strength, how could the Impure World Reincarnation technique possibly hold you back?" he said.
"I should have realized this long ago."
Hashirama was momentarily stunned.
He hadn't expected Madara's first words to be like this.
He chuckled softly and said, "But you didn't lose to me this time."
He glanced at Uchiha Haru standing nearby.
This young Uchiha, whose strength was unfathomable and terrifying, far exceeded even Madara's prime self in his previous life.
Even now, the thought was incredible to Hashirama.
"Yes," Madara took a breath. "But does it really matter who I lose to?"
"I've failed again."
"This time, it's a true, complete defeat."
Madara's expression was bitter, a mix of unwillingness and helplessness.
He had exhausted every possible method — yet all had been for nothing.
Uchiha Haru gazed indifferently at the two legendary ninjas beside him.
This battle was finally over.
But his mission was not.
He began to circulate his chakra.
Soon, thick vines twisted upward from the roots of towering trees, wrapping around and lifting three figures into the air.
One was Orochimaru.
One was the masked man — Uchiha Obito.
The last was Black Zetsu.
Among these three, Orochimaru had persistently defied Haru.
He had believed mastering the Impure World Reincarnation technique would let him challenge Haru's authority.
Damn him.
As for Obito Uchiha, he was the root of all recent chaos.
Without Obito, there would be no war now.
No matter the many excuses, it all started because of him.
Having committed such sins, Obito deserved punishment.
This was a truth Haru had always held to.
And Black Zetsu — the true mastermind hiding behind the scenes.
It was because of his lies that so much calamity had unfolded.
Ordinary people may have been unaware of these truths.
But as a time traveler, none of this escaped Haru's sight.
"O-Uchiha Haru..." Orochimaru's eyes flickered with fear.
He hadn't expected to face Haru again in such a position.
Escaping with his life would be nearly impossible this time.
The last time, Haru had said it was Orochimaru's final chance.
Yet Orochimaru had squandered it.
Would Haru grant him another?
Orochimaru didn't know. But he knew he had to fight for it.
"Uchiha Haru, you can't kill me," Orochimaru pleaded desperately. "If you do, no one will ever be able to break this Impure World Reincarnation technique!"
"These immortals will live forever, bound to my commands, destined to destroy the entire ninja world..."
"If you spare me, I will unlock Edo Tensei through drawing, and I swear I will never oppose you again!"
"Believe me, this time I will never regret it!"
Orochimaru cast aside all his arrogance and desperation, finally begging Uchiha Haru for mercy.
However, Uchiha Haru laughed coldly, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I already told you long ago—your last chance was your last chance, and you wasted it."
"This time, you must die. As for the Impure World Reincarnation Technique you cling to, you're hardly the only one in the world who can use it."
"To my knowledge, there's another who knows most of your ninjutsu, including that forbidden technique—Kabuto Yakushi."
"Even without you, he can still dispel this jutsu!"
"And I'm not afraid to tell you that Uchiha Itachi has been found, and he is controlling Kabuto Yakushi to unlock and undo the Impure World Reincarnation Technique."
Uchiha Haru's ninjutsu extended through the entire forest. Every tree, every vine, every leaf was like his hands, feet, and eyes.
Of course, he could see everything Uchiha Itachi was doing right now.
(Itachi was beyond the reach of those binding vines because Haru deliberately chose not to trap him.)
"What?" Orochimaru's expression twisted in shock.
He knew if he was no longer needed to unlock the Impure World Reincarnation Technique, he was useless. His existence would lead nowhere but a dead end.
And indeed, the truth was exactly as he feared.
Just when terror seized him, Uchiha Haru's chakra surged, and the vines binding Orochimaru suddenly constricted tightly.
In an instant, Orochimaru's body was torn to pieces—he didn't even have time to scream.
After disposing of Orochimaru, Uchiha Haru calmly faced the masked man, Obito Uchiha.
He said lightly, "Obito Uchiha, do you have anything else to say?"
Obito gave a sad smile.
"When I did all those things, I knew this day might come."
"I deserve punishment for my mistakes."
"But in the end, I failed to create the world I dreamed of with Rin."
"Perhaps... this is fate."
"I have nothing more to say, Uchiha Haru. You win."
"Very well."
Uchiha Haru clenched his fist, and in the next instant, the vines binding Obito tightened abruptly.
Blood splattered and sprayed out.
Obito's final breath was a whisper, broken and defeated.
Then—
"Uchiha Haru, you… you…"
"Why have you captured me?" Black Zetsu feigned innocence.
Uchiha Haru said nothing.
He summoned chakra, and the binding vines tightened relentlessly.
Suddenly, Black Zetsu's form was sliced into several pieces and dropped to the ground.
In mid-air, Uchiha Haru unleashed a Fire Release technique, incinerating the fragments instantly.
For such a vile being, swift execution was the only option—there was no room for nonsense.
With that done, the task was basically complete.
Uchiha Haru was about to depart when a familiar voice stopped him.
"You seem to have forgotten me."
Uchiha Madara's voice echoed behind him.
Haru said firmly, "Uchiha Madara, you are no longer a threat. Someone will be here soon to take you away."
He had learned that Uchiha Itachi had used genjutsu to control Kabuto Yakushi, and the ninjutsu to cancel the Impure World Reincarnation had been finalized.
Soon, all those ninja revived by Edo Tensei would be returned to their original states.
Just as Uchiha Haru finished speaking, both the First Hokage and Uchiha Madara felt a dissipating power within them simultaneously.
The Impure World Reincarnation Technique was being undone, taking them back to where they truly belonged.
The First Hokage felt the life force ebb from his body and looked at Uchiha Haru with a calm expression.
"I feel safe with you in this world."
"With you around, peace should endure for a long time."
Uchiha Haru smiled faintly but remained silent.
Uchiha Madara also felt the dissipating power draining from him.
He could have broken free but chose not to.
This, he said, was his last dignity as a mighty man.
As time passed, Uchiha Madara and the First Hokage disappeared into the void one after another.
Uchiha Haru descended to the ground.
The Hidden Leaf Village, painstakingly rebuilt since Pain's devastating attack, had once again been reduced to ruins.
The people below looked up at Uchiha Haru with a reverence that went beyond mere respect.
His gaze was not that of a man's; it was like that of a god.
Uchiha Haru was their savior—the god who rescued them and the entire shinobi world.
Haru looked down at the people with a faint, calm smile.
It seemed the ninja world would become like the other half of what the First Hokage had once envisioned.
With him present, peace could last—if only for a day.
Given his current age, many years of peace should lie ahead for the human world.
And during that time, he would continue to grow stronger.
Perhaps one day, he would reach heights that few would dare even imagine.
It seemed a new dawn was about to break...
