Cassian woke up in the hospital. Surprisingly, there were no injuries on his body—he had already recovered from the fight. He had leveled up, and one of the rewards for leveling up was full recovery.
"I know that ability users have stronger bodies than normal humans. They're more powerful and recover faster. But how did you heal so quickly? It's only been a few hours since I brought you here," Roy said.
Cassian looked at him in confusion, then slowly remembered: he had passed out after the fight.

"So many new things in the system… including a 'Race' category. Is it because of my special clone?" Cassian wondered. If I remember correctly, he's a demon—a different race entirely.
"To be honest, there's something I want to talked about you, but it seems you have to go to your family first", said by Roy, "my family?" Cassian asked, as he remembers that he already saved his mother and sister.
"A while ago, a man and a girl rushed in. The man was carrying a woman—and that man was your clone," Roy explained.
Cassian's eyes widened. Why would my clone bring them here?
"You seem confused. It's better if you see for yourself," Roy said as he turned and walked toward the door. Before exiting, he paused and looked back at Cassian. "Follow me."
Cassian got up and followed Roy through the hospital. They stopped in front of a room, and Cassian heard crying from inside.
Roy stepped aside and nodded, signaling Cassian to go in alone.
As Cassian opened the door, he saw his sister sobbing in the arms of his clone, who was trying to comfort her. He slowly walked to the bed. His mother lay still, as if in deep sleep.
Seeing his sister cry, Cassian wanted to say something, but the words wouldn't come. He just stood there, giving her a moment.
"What will happen now, what are we going to do?, the docter said that our mother is in coma, and possibly she won't be able to wake up, because the cause of her coma is odd", Mia explained, "Our mother is one of those people who receive this case, it was already reported that when the demon appears, there's a lot of people d*e because of his power, but when they rescue everyone who lost their consciousness, there's a hundred cases of this, a person who's not waking up, because there's something 'strange' happening to their body" Mia added while crying.
Cassian felt his throat tighten "Is-is there a solution for this, or s-some type of cure?, is there s-something we can do?", Cassian is in his right mind to think, he's panicking inside,and overthinking.
"There's nothing we can do, an ability user who's a doctor that checked the patient with this kind of case, he said that the there's a harmful energy that came to the inside of their body, causing them to be in coma, he also said that they won't make it in a six months, because the energy inside of their body is absorbing their lifespan" she explained.
"Special-type ability serum can save her, the newest model of ability serum, that's the only thing that can save her... But the problem is the price, those serums are super rare and the cheapest specia-type ability serum cost 2 billion dollars"
Cassian felt the air leave his lungs. All of these news shocked him, he was wondering what to do, her sister lost her job, and he's also don't have any job, he was thinking what he needs to do, wondering what to do, he clench his fist.
In Cassian's mind, he was blaming himself, he was thinking if he didn't get into coma for the past six years, his father doesn't have to leave, and his mother doesn't have to work multiple part-time jobs, and his sister doesn't have to stopped her studies.
He's holding back his tears, as he turned around and slowly leaves the room, but before he left, Cassian looked to his sister, "don't worry, I'll do something, I promise to protect my family, I promise to earn that money so we can save our mother", Cassian announce, he left the room and looked to Roy.
"Do you want to join the Guardians?" Roy Asked Cassian, there's a fierce look to Cassian's face, he was thinking that he needs to face this, this is the only way, he also thinks that this is a opportunity, because in the whole world, there's a new three Jobs that are high in demand: Guardians, Hunters, and Heroes.
Guardians are those ability user that uses their power to protect the city where they're in Charge.
Hunters are the one who travel the country and hunts the monster that roam around, they also go to the ocean to kill monster there, because monsters begin to appear in the deepest part of the sea.
Heroes are like nobles, they possess a high social status and authority, at the same time they're doing the jobs of the two, they protect the country from the possible danger such as monster attack or some terrorism, they're also the one who fight a group of villains.
"Heroes is the highest paying jobs, but being a hero right now is impossible, because I need to study for two years to have a hero license, but being a Guardian or hunter only required the certificate that proves you're a ability user, then you can have a license, the process will only take a few hours" Cassian thought to himself.
"Alright I have decided, Captain Roy, I'll jointhe Guardians, please help me, please accept me, please help my family" Cassian begged, as he bow down to Roy.
"Stand up straight, I didn't tell you to begged me, Don't worry, I'll take all of your worries, but promise me to pay it back, I ran a background check while tou were asleep, I paid all of your family debts, bills, and hospital bills, I'll support you and sponsor you, but you have to promise me, to use your power to protect everyone, you have the potential kid, I know it", Roy said, and smile to Cassian.
Cassian being hopeless, tears welled up in Cassian's eyes, he was in tough situation, he's having a hard time to think what he will do, and somehow someone who's a stranger to him is willing to help him this much, "Thank you...*Sobs*..Thank you so much Captain Roy, I won't forget this, I promise.... I promise I will pay all of this someday" Cassian wipes his tears.
