Amenotejikara was one of the powers of adult Sasuke's six-tomoe Rinnegan. Within a certain range, it allowed the user to instantly swap places with a target object.
It could be anything — even an enemy — switching their positions with his own.
When a shuriken appeared right beside Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, adult Sasuke materialized next to him, his blade wrapped in crackling Lightning Release chakra. With the roar of surging current, the Kusanagi sword cleaved toward Urashiki.
But Urashiki moved as if he could truly see the future, twisting his body at an impossible angle to dodge. Even with Kiyosuke and Jiraiya striking from both sides, he slipped away with ease.
The crimson fishing rod lashed across Jiraiya's body, while his foot slammed into Kiyosuke's chest.
Boom!
Jiraiya was sent flying, while Kiyosuke staggered back several steps, clutching his aching chest.
Sasuke pressed his attack, but not a single strike landed.
"So that's it? That must be his Rinnegan ability."
Kiyosuke's eyes narrowed as he pieced it together. Urashiki's power was something akin to future sight. By glimpsing what was about to happen, he could react accordingly. And that… was very bad news.
"Oh? You figured it out?" Urashiki laughed, delighted. "Sharp intuition. This ability was originally meant as a defense against powerful enemies. But against you, it's perfect for offense."
He smirked proudly.
"This jutsu lets me rewind time — returning from this moment to a few seconds before. I can relive your attacks dozens of times over, observe every move, and then choose the most reliable counter! Hmph, hahahaha! How could you ever defeat me? For each strike you throw, I've already experienced it dozens of times. You'll never touch my true self!"
Rewinding time again and again, evading attacks, and selecting the best response — that was Urashiki's Rinnegan ability.
"Damn… How the hell are we supposed to fight that?"
Kiyosuke cursed under his breath, then sneered.
"Hmph. At most, you can only rewind a few seconds. Anything longer would be way too broken."
If Urashiki could rewind minutes or hours, he'd have no need to hunt tailed beasts. With that kind of power, he'd already stand unrivaled among the Ōtsutsuki, and wouldn't have to waste the effort of traversing the stars to gather chakra fruits on this planet.
"True… but a few seconds is more than enough to deal with you."
Arrogance gleamed in Urashiki's eyes. Crushing these insects was exhilarating. This wasn't the kind of luxury he got to enjoy every day.
Watching these monkeys flail helplessly while unable to touch him — the satisfaction was overwhelming. The frustration he'd felt from Sasuke and Boruto foiling his plans was finally given release.
One word summed it up.
Bliss!
"Really? I don't buy it. Predicting the future can always be countered somehow. Isn't that right, sage of Mount Myōboku?"
"Hahahaha, you said it!"
Jiraiya scrambled to his feet and started doing a ridiculous, off-beat dance.
"Leave it to me, the wandering sage of Mount Myōboku!"
"What the hell are you doing?!"
Urashiki twitched at the corner of his mouth.
And then — darkness engulfed him. Suspended in midair, he found himself above steaming acid, surrounded on all sides by crimson walls of flesh.
"This place is…?"
"You're inside the intestines of the Great Toad of Myōboku," Jiraiya explained.
"You think this will trap me? Don't make me laugh."
Urashiki scoffed. With his mastery of space-time jutsu, there was no way these fools could contain him here. Unless—
Suddenly, agony ripped through his body. He coughed up a mouthful of black blood.
"What… what's happening?!"
Jiraiya smirked.
"The Great Toad's body produces poisonous gas. A little won't hurt you. But inhale too much, and the damage builds. And you… you've lived through far more time than us. Which means you're inhaling more with every rewind. The poison is working on you faster."
Urashiki's face twisted with fury.
"So that's it… I let to trick me?!"
An insult. To him — and to the entire Ōtsutsuki clan.
He staggered, only to be met with Kiyosuke's hand sweeping out. Snakes poured from his sleeve, sinking their fangs deep into Urashiki's flesh.
"Aaaghhhh!"
The pain was searing, his body wracked with venom. Even the hardy constitution of the Ōtsutsuki struggled against the sudden flood of toxins.
He collapsed to the ground, vomiting blood, his body convulsing.
Jiraiya released the summoning technique, returning them all to the forest.
Kiyosuke looked down at the writhing Urashiki and laughed.
"I've always wanted to see that look on your face — that helpless, bitter expression! Hahahaha!"
"Damn you!!!"
Urashiki roared. He had been invincible, untouchable… and yet here he was, defeated through trickery.
He quickly forced chakra through his system, expelling some of the toxins, buying himself time to recover.
But his opponents weren't about to give him that chance.
"Flame Release: Kagutsuchi!"
"Rasengan!!"
"Final Descent!"
Black flames formed spikes that pierced Urashiki's body. Jiraiya's Rasengan slammed into his gut. Kiyosuke's kick crashed into his chest.
BOOOOM!!!
His body blasted away like a cannonball, crashing through tree after tree, gouging a deep trench through the earth.
Even so, he staggered back to his feet. Black flames clung to him, burning unrelentingly like a curse.
"Kh…!"
He spat out a torrent of blood, flecked with bits of his own organs. The smug confidence was gone, replaced by pain and fury.
"To think I'd be brought low… "
"Impossible!!!"
He swung his crimson rod, felling several trees with a single sweep.
Then he reached into the crimson fishing basket at his waist, drawing out a black pill the size of a rat pellet. Without hesitation, he swallowed it.
The moment it slid down his throat, heat poured from his body as chakra flared, mending his wounds.
"What the hell is that?!"
"What's happening?!"
Kiyosuke and Jiraiya frowned, unsettled.
Sasuke's face hardened.
"That's an Ōtsutsuki ability. They can condense chakra into special pills. Swallowing them boosts their power… The one he just ate — it's very likely my chakra."
His complexion darkened.
They had been so close to victory. And yet… Urashiki still had hidden reserves.
