Chapter 121 - Incoming Dungeon Dive

Kael dropped his phone onto the couch and groaned, stretching his arms above his head.

"Damn," he muttered, rubbing his eyes. "That was tiring as hell…"

He'd just gotten off a long, exhausting call with a South Korean Empire Dungeon Clearance Officer. Even with all credentials elite academy student it had taken forever to get a single approval.

"The South Korean Empire really doesn't play around with dungeon access, huh?"

He walked over to the kitchen, poured himself a cold glass of water, and downed it.

"You'd think being from the highest-ranked private academy in the world would be enough, but nah that did nothing."

He sat back down and sighed deeply.

"Only when I mentioned I was coming with a Sylvenmire did they start acting nice. Typical…"

He shook his head.

"Maybe if I was part of a guild, I could've just walked into a guild-licensed dungeon and saved all this paperwork."

Kael pulled his phone back into his hand and opened up his messages. He tapped in a quick text.

> Kael: Hey.

Three dots popped up. Then a reply.

> Elsa : Who's this?

Kael stared at the screen for a second, dumbfounded.

> Kael: It's Kael…

> Elsa : ???

He blinked.

> Kael: Vernier. From the same school. The guy you literally planned a dungeon raid with two days ago.

> Elsa : OOOOH YH SORRY I HAVE A BAD MEMORY

Kael nearly dropped his phone. He stared at the message and laughed like a dying soul.

> Kael: We spoke TWO days ago. You forgot me already? That's not a bad memory. That's spiritual-level amnesia.

> Elsa : Whatever 😒

Kael chuckled to himself and leaned back on the couch.

> Kael: Yh yh. Anyway, here's the location.

He attached the dungeon coordinates, a time stamp for 8:30 AM tomorrow, and a map pin.

> Kael: Don't be late. This is a mid to high D-rank zone. Mutated beasts, acidic terrain. Should be fun.

Elsa's reply came back in a second.

> Elsa : I'll be there. This better be exciting.

Kael smirked.

"Guess tomorrow's gonna be loud."

He tossed his phone aside and stood up, heading toward his room.

The sky outside was already dimming to dusk.

A quiet moment.

But Kael could feel it.

Tomorrow, chaos was coming.
