Chapter 91 - Chapter 91: The Matter Concludes

It had to be said that the mere existence of an Erudition Aeon shattered the limits of Zhong Wanhong's imagination. On his side, legends still spoke of the Sun God driving his chariot across the sky to banish the night and bring light to the world. Robin, however, had extrapolated the workings of the entire cosmos. The difference in scale was staggering.

Recalling the arm he had seen in the Illusionary Realm, Zhong Wanhong suddenly understood. If Aeons truly existed and wielded such immense power, worshipping them seemed perfectly reasonable.

Moreover, following the Path of an Aeon could bring tangible benefits.

After their conversation, Zhong Wanhong had a rough understanding of the power system in Robin's "previous" world. His assessment could be summed up in one word: "Absurd!"

They didn't dwell on the topic of Aeons for long. The conversation soon shifted back to Penacony itself, and Zhong Wanhong finally learned what Robin's brother, Sunday, had done.

To create a perfect world of absolute equality where everyone could live happily, Sunday had constructed an immense Dream Realm.

So, the initial intelligence they received upon entering the Illusionary Realm—that Robin's brother had committed a crime—was technically correct. But who in their right mind could have imagined that the crime was creating a Dream Realm where everyone could enjoy endless vacations without ever having to work?

Later, Robin, ever the wise one, explained, "The Martyr's ability overlaps with Dominicus's authority in a way. He was likely influenced in reverse, which is why he pulled everyone into my Illusionary Realm when he tried to trap you."

The rest is history. Robin's brother, empowered by the 'past' within the Illusionary Realm, utterly annihilated the Martyr.

Some time later, after filling in all the remaining details, Zhong Wanhong finally finished the report with a heavy heart. He couldn't help but let out a long sigh. "I just hope the people at the Bureau of Anomalous Investigations don't think I've gone completely insane after reading this."

With the report concluded, Robin stretched languidly and stood up. She had barely cracked open the door when she felt a force pressing against it. She instinctively stumbled back a couple of steps, and then... Yu Lin and Lü Heng came tumbling awkwardly into the room.

There was no doubt in Robin's mind: Lü Heng and Yu Lin had been pressed against the door, eavesdropping while she reported on her "previous life."

"Uh..." Caught red-handed, Lü Heng scratched his head awkwardly, scrambling for an excuse. But before he could speak, Yu Lin burst out excitedly, "I couldn't help it! I'm just so curious about Bird Sister's past!"

In that moment, Lü Heng had an epiphany. All the carefully crafted excuses he'd been struggling to invent paled in comparison to Yu Lin's heartfelt declaration.

Yu Lin, you're a genius!

Zhong Wanhong sighed again. Theoretically, both the Martyr incident and Robin's previous life were top-secret matters, never to be divulged. But Lü Heng and Yu Lin were exceptions, having experienced these events firsthand.

"Fine," he said. "Just promise you won't blab about it."

With permission granted, Yu Lin's eyes lit up. "Bird Sister, Bird Sister! No wonder your singing is so amazing! I heard you were a galaxy-famous singer in your past life. Is that true?"

"That's just an exaggeration, don't take it seriously!" After a moment's hesitation, Robin finally denied it. However, under Yu Lin's earnest gaze, she couldn't help but feel a little guilty.

Of course, Robin's guilt stemmed from the fact that while the Cosmic Songstress was indeed the True Robin, she herself wasn't nearly that capable!

To everyone else, however, her guilty demeanor only reinforced the impression that she was lying, ironically solidifying her identity as the renowned intergalactic singer.

Lü Heng pondered for a moment before asking, "Speaking of which, Robin, you must have traveled to countless planets and seen so many places. Don't you find this place... rather backward?"

It was a reasonable assumption. A civilization capable of roaming the cosmos would naturally find a society confined to its own planet quite primitive.

Yet Robin shook her head. "Not at all. I think it's quite nice here."

She was telling the truth. After all, Robin's technology in her previous life hadn't even been as advanced as this!

Afterward, Lü Heng and Yu Lin continued to pepper Robin with questions about her past for another twenty minutes until Zhong Wanhong called them away to work, finally freeing her.

With the Bureau of Anomalous Investigations no longer needing her assistance, Robin could return to her normal life. She was free to resume her live streams or focus on planning her second concert.

After a moment's thought, Robin made a call and got straight to the point: "I want to hold another concert. What do you think?"

Silence hung in the air on the other end of the line. It was none other than Chu Xingyu, an executive at Ningke Mutual Entertainment.

Robin added, "By the way, this is my personal decision, not a request from the Bureau. So... if you don't want to be involved, that's fine too."

Robin wasn't lacking for funds or personnel. Even without Lü Heng and Yu Lin's help, she could easily replicate the scale of her first concert. She had no need to involve the Bureau this time; she could handle it all herself.

"No, I'm in!" Chu Xingyu took a deep breath. The reason was simple: he had been fired from Ningke Mutual Entertainment.

Everyone understood that the Bureau of Anomalous Investigations' request couldn't be fulfilled, but the company had lost a significant amount of money because of it. Someone had to take responsibility, right? Everyone sympathized with the executive's predicament, but they also hoped he would understand the company's position.

And then... that was it. The former executive, once a high-ranking official, had become unemployed overnight.

When Robin learned of this, she couldn't help but feel a little guilty. After all, she was the one who had indirectly cost him his job. The solution was simple: she asked about his previous salary and offered him the same amount.

Just like that, Chu Xingyu lost one job but gained a new one.

Time passed slowly. Although Robin hadn't live-streamed in a while, her online popularity continued to grow, especially after her concert had just ended. Videos of her concert were trending in other countries, including the White Eagle Federation, rivaling the "Martyr's Disappearance" incident in online buzz.
