Chapter 237 - Chapter 237: It's Me, Of course it Smells So Good

It's worth mentioning that a rather amusing incident occurred in the Dragon Nation just a few days ago.

As the saying goes, old habits die hard.

Due to Elysia's influence, all of her incarnations had become somewhat more extroverted. During Robin's routine visit to the Bureau of Anomalous Investigations to submit a few "feathers," she spotted Lü Heng and instinctively greeted him with a casual, "Hey~?"

Lü Heng immediately tensed up, glaring at her suspiciously. "Don't think you can fool me! You're Sparkle, aren't you?! You know I like Robin, so you transformed into her to prank me! The real Robin would never talk to me like that!"

Robin stared back, utterly bewildered. "???"

Her first thought was, "What's gotten into him?" But then she realized this was probably her fault. Sparkle's previous pranks had clearly left Lü Heng with some psychological scars.

Tilting her head slightly, Robin fluttered the small wings behind her ears and asked in genuine confusion, "Um... what are you talking about?"

Lü Heng crossed his arms confidently. "Hmph! Do you think I'll fall for that again? I spent days binge-watching hundreds of anti-fraud videos! I'm Invincible Bro now!"

Hmm, in a way, isn't it a kind of deception when someone is convinced you're going to lie to them, but you actually don't?

Just then, Invincible Bro, who was also on his way to work, noticed Lü Heng's smug grin and Robin's exasperated expression. He walked over and greeted them.

Lü Heng immediately rushed to Invincible Bro's side and whispered urgently, "Don't fall for it! She's an impostor! She's Sparkle!"

Invincible Bro narrowed his eyes, glanced at Robin, and replied, "Huh? What are you talking about? Isn't she just Robin?"

Lü Heng froze, staring at Invincible Bro in shock. Then he turned to Robin, his smugness slowly dissolving into utter confusion and bewilderment. Recalling what he had just said, his face turned deathly pale.

Crap! Is it too late to book a rocket ticket to Mars and escape Earth?!

Lü Heng dropped to his knees with a thud, paralyzed as if struck by a petrifying spell.

Robin simply looked at him silently.

In the end, Robin gently forgave and comforted Lü Heng, after all, she was the one who had started this whole mess.

But from an outsider's perspective, wasn't this a classic bad-cop/good-cop routine? With Sparkle playing the villain and Robin the innocent one, they had manipulated Lü Heng completely. Could this be considered textbook "bad woman" behavior?

Back in the present, Sparkle used the convenient Chat Group to traverse the entire Earth in the blink of an eye. She instantly teleported from the Dragon Nation to White Eagle, materializing in Elysia's room.

Sparkle stared at Elysia, then took a few steps and circled around her. It was the first time she had seen herself as Elysia through another person's eyes, and she couldn't resist taking a closer look.

Not long ago, the battle with Wrath had left her mentally tainted, her eyes scarred by something truly hideous. Now, she needed to cleanse her eyes with something beautiful.

In the next instant, Sparkle wrapped her arms around Elysia from behind, hugging her waist and burying her face in the cascade of long, pink hair, inhaling deeply.

"Mmm~ As expected of me! You smell amazing!"

If a man were to do this to a woman, it would be pure harassment. But between two women... well, it was still pretty creepy.

When Firefly had nothing else to do, she would immerse herself in online browsing. She had once seen a video of a boyfriend burying his face in his girlfriend's hair, a display of affection.

She certainly couldn't do something like that now, but acting it out with herself wouldn't hurt, right?

Elysia felt nothing more than a slight tickling sensation, while Sparkle's satisfaction reached its peak.

Elysia Energy fully charged! Time for the main event.

"So," Sparkle said, "the next step is to locate and infiltrate The Eldritch Concord's headquarters to investigate the whereabouts of the other five Seven Sins."

"Then we'll head straight there and take them down!" Elysia declared.

Though it sounded like a conversation, it was really just a more elaborate form of self-talk.

Due to the time difference, it was already night in White Eagle. Theoretically, venturing out at night in this country was extremely dangerous for ordinary people. But for Sparkle, the darkness provided the perfect cover for her clandestine operations.

Sparkle turned invisible as she departed from Elysia's home, lightly touching the mask on her forehead. Instantly, more invisible clones of herself materialized around her, scattering in all directions.

Notably, the emergence of Elysia—the Fourth Her—had significantly enhanced Sparkle's mental strength, granting her even greater control over her clones. She could now precisely manipulate seven to eight hundred of them simultaneously, without minor errors like tripping over nothing. While still short of the theoretical limit of one thousand, this was already an extraordinary feat.

With no other leads to follow, Sparkle resorted to the basic method, deploying as many clones as possible for a systematic city-wide search.

However, just as Sparkle began her operation, Baldy Burke called Elysia. "Lady Elysia! A group of elderly people claiming to be your followers has suddenly appeared. They just raided three Eldritch Concord strongholds and seized a large quantity of cult artifacts. Would you like to come to the White Tower and inspect them?"

Elysia, "???"

What the hell is this?!

Wait, that's a lot to process. Let me take a moment.

What does "an old man claiming to be her follower" even mean?

And what's this about him raiding three Eldritch Concord strongholds?

Elysia immediately set off. Moments later, she arrived at the White Tower. Staring in disbelief at the mountain of occult artifacts piled high in the lobby, she couldn't help but fall into deep thought.

Good grief! Sparkle just got here and started her operation, and now you're telling me she didn't even need to come? Everything's already been taken care of?

No, it wasn't a complete waste of time. Elysia opened a laptop and reviewed chat logs between Wrath and other high-ranking members of the Eldritch Concord. The most frequent correspondent with Wrath was another Concord executive codenamed "Lust."

By analyzing these conversations, she could roughly deduce Lust's current location.
