Pei Shu'er walked into the front hall and saw Yan Huan Yu dressed in a deep blue robe, which accentuated his noble demeanor.
The childishness on his face had faded somewhat, and his entire aura had matured.
Yan Huan Yu was sitting in front of the table, eating some snacks, with a touch of contemplation in his eyes.
He seemed to be reminiscing about something.
Upon hearing footsteps, his body paused. Then he slowly turned around and saw Pei Shu'er in a light purple dress.
He could almost hear his own heartbeat quicken.
When Pei Shu'er saw Yan Huan Yu, she nodded toward him.
"Have you gotten used to staying in the Capital?"
Yan Huan Yu seemed to take a while to come back to his senses. He slightly lowered his head and looked at Pei Shu'er with a smile.
"Sister, I still prefer the days at the Gulan Military Camp."
Pei Shu'er nodded. "After all, it's more free there."
