Chapter 262 - Still MY Omega

I just walked into my room, and found Elián standing in front of the room's balcony, and this caused me to pause.

I thought he'd surely be asleep by now.

At first, I don't understand what I'm seeing, but then I notice the details.

His eyes are red, swollen, and puffy… His hands are smudged with black ink, and his feet are completely bare against the stone floor that I'm certain is cold thanks to the current temperature of the room.

The room… is unnaturally cool, far colder than Nagari's usual warm air. And in this… freezing space, Elián looks so… small.

So fragile.

So heartbreakingly delicate.

My stomach drops at the sight of him in an oversized top and shorts, and before I even realise I've moved, I find myself rushing to him.

"Elián…" his name leaves my lips sharper than intended as the possibility of him catching a cold rushes at me.
