"Uh, sis," Oliver Scott let out a breath and explained, "You might need to prepare yourself a little mentally for tomorrow's parents' meeting."
"Why?"
"Marcus Shaw's exam results have skyrocketed from being outside the top two hundred to being in the top thirty, so..." Oliver hesitated, "Some teachers suspect he might have cheated."
Nora Scott caught on, "Your homeroom teacher?"
Oliver replied, "Judging by her tone, there's a hint of it."
"Got it."
Nora said calmly, indicating she was aware.
"There's no way Marcus Shaw would cheat. The school's exam supervision is strict. Even if he wanted to cheat, there wouldn't be an opportunity," Oliver explained.
"Hmm."
Nora's tone was confident.
Marcus Shaw was very proud and didn't care about rankings; even if the answers were laid out in front of him, he probably wouldn't bother to copy them.
