Laura Collins, usually calm, was a bit incoherent for once.

Nora Scott squinted slightly, her voice as calm as ever: "Take your time."

Her voice had a magical power, overly calm and steady, as if nothing was of any significance. Naturally, it soothed Laura Collins' anxious mood.

Laura Collins paused for a moment of silence, and when she spoke again, she was much calmer, recounting what had happened today to Nora Scott.

Since Sir Collins' passing, Laura Collins had been staying at home, and only after the funeral did she receive a call from the lawyer — Sir Collins had clearly left all his inheritance to her in the will.

These past few days, Laura Collins had been overwhelmed, busy with the inheritance transfer and dealing with troublesome relatives.
