Julian Linfield waved his hand broadly, "After a hundred years, this house will be yours."
"Thanks." Nora Scott replied numbly, then coldly and ruthlessly asked, "How about making a will now?"
With a carefree smile, Julian didn't argue with her, but leaned in slightly and asked mysteriously, "Do you know you owe me a favor?"
"..."
Nora paused.
Julian stroked his beard and smiled brightly and kindly, but his words were full of threat, "Be careful, the task I assign you could lead to your early demise."
"..."
Damn!
Nora immediately reined herself in.
Boss Alex's advice to avoid accumulating debts of gratitude was indeed wise.
Seeing her submission, Julian smiled contentedly and handed her a bamboo cup, "Go pour me some tea."
"The kind with poison?"
Nora grabbed the bamboo cup and stood up.
Julian grunted, "Without martial arts to protect yourself, forget about an early demise; you might not even reach adulthood."
