The door was pounded urgently.
Then, there was Alma Ferreira's questioning voice, "Sophie, are you there?"

Sophie Scott shuddered all over, suddenly snapping back to her senses.
The door wasn't locked; Alma turned the handle and pushed it open.
Even from a distance, Sophie could feel Alma's anger and shock. She hurriedly pulled off the covers, got out of bed, and slipped on her slippers.
But she just stood there, too afraid to approach Alma.
"What's going on? Someone told me that Nora Scott is a top comic artist in the industry, the very one you plagiarized." Alma, holding her phone, came over in large strides, "Isn't she just an obscure little artist?"
"I..." Sophie's voice trembled slightly, "I just found out too."
Alma's face changed, suddenly questioning harshly, "So it's true?!"
