The office had been tidily arranged.
The bookshelves and sofa were moved back to their original positions, the floor lamp was dealt with, the water in the dispenser was changed, and even a new computer was set up.
Aside from a few missing items, it looked no different from when she first came here.
Nora Scott leaned by the window, calling Boss Alex.
"You really know how to cause a stir." Boss Alex sighed. "The calls are coming in nonstop, my phone has been overwhelmed."
Nora Scott frowned, "Who's complaining about me?"
"Plenty, too many to count."
"Why can't they voice their opinions in person, instead of playing dirty?"
Boss Alex chuckled, "Will you listen?"
"No."
Nora Scott answered decisively.
"Previous Hall Masters have all been kind and easygoing. Are you trying to lead a rebellion and go to the other extreme?" Boss Alex teased.
