It was only upon returning to the hotel that Nora Scott learned from Pedro Langley about "Camilo Nogueira being kidnapped."
"Ransom?"
Nora remained relatively calm, sipped some cold drink to soothe her throat, and then calmly asked those two words.
"I don't know. He's been kidnapped for three hours, and there hasn't been any word from the kidnappers so far." Pedro Langley was also very calm, showing no hint of panic over his "partner being kidnapped."
Those who didn't know might think he was eager to see Camilo Nogueira out of the way because of a rift between them.
"Then how did you know Camilo Nogueira was kidnapped?" Nora asked suspiciously.
Pedro replied, "He had a meeting this afternoon. Five minutes before entering the company, he was still on the phone with his assistant. Half an hour later, when the assistant hadn't seen him appear, he found his car in the parking lot but not him."
