Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Not Willing to Be a Free Housekeeper

Xinyan didn't hide it for Lyu Juncheng and directly said, "Sister Tian, Lyu Juncheng had a vasectomy before I came here, and I'm still young. I don't want to be a free nanny for their family, so this marriage definitely won't work out."

Sister Tian looked incredulous, "No way, how is that possible, why would he do such a thing?"

Xinyan's face looked grim, "It's true."

Sister Tian was genuinely shocked that Lyu Juncheng had a vasectomy for the sake of Yao Qian's three children, and she was utterly dumbfounded.

In this day and age, not to mention men, even women rarely undergo sterilization, especially without telling their second wives. Isn't this harming others? No wonder she doesn't want to stay with him. It's really going too far.

Sister Tian felt some sympathy for Xinyan, but she didn't know how to console her. She opened and closed her mouth several times but couldn't say a word.

She thought to herself: Being a stepmother is hard enough, and if she doesn't have her own children in the future, life would indeed be hopeless.

Xinyan sighed softly, "Sister, you should go back. Anyway, you see, I haven't even entered Lyu Juncheng's house; I came straight to the hospital with my luggage.

But he's only visited me once while I've been hospitalized these days. A forced relationship won't last, and a life without love is difficult, so I don't want to be a lifelong free nanny in confusion."

Sister Tian didn't quite agree with Xinyan's view. How can you divorce right after getting married? How would you face others in the future? But thinking about what Lyu Juncheng did, she also felt the man was too selfish.

A young woman comes to be a stepmother, and without a word, he gets a vasectomy. It's a bit of a scoundrel's act. No matter how much you can't forget Yao Qian or care about those three children, you shouldn't do this.

All of a sudden, not knowing how to persuade Xinyan, she had to say, "Sister, I'm not sure how to advise you, but you should think it over carefully. There are no regrets in this world, and you must consider the consequences of divorce carefully."

Xinyan nodded, "Thank you, Sister, I've made up my mind, and there's no room for negotiation. I'm still young and want to find someone who has me in their heart and eyes, to spend a lifetime with.

If I didn't know before, it would be different, but now that I know, I really can't live with him."

After Sister Tian left, Xinyan was about to leave when she heard noises from behind a nearby tree. She turned to look and saw a pair of crutches propped up against the trunk.

Someone was behind the tree, which meant they had overheard the conversation with Sister Tian.

Angrily, she walked over and saw, behind the century-old locust tree, a man with a masculine appearance. He wasn't particularly handsome but had a very manly charm.

The man looked over as well, and their eyes met. Xinyan remembered him; he was the man from the next hospital room.

She originally wanted to give him a piece of her mind directly, but seeing his demeanor, it was clear he'd been sitting there for a while. She only blamed herself for not noticing earlier.

Besides, what Lyu Juncheng did wasn't something she was making up. She hadn't planned on hiding it for him. Now that it's been overheard, so be it. After all, it's Lyu Juncheng who didn't act decently first.

So she decided not to confront him and turned to leave, but the man unexpectedly said, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."

Xinyan paused and politely said, "Thank you."

She then quickly left. After Xinyan left, the man behind the tree slightly curled his lips. This girl really has a character.
