Shen Xiaoyu immediately linked arms with Zhang Zhaodi: "Zhaodi, we're from the same province, true hometown pals, so we must get along in the future."
Zhang Zhaodi noticed that Shen Xiaoyu seemed unfazed by today's events and couldn't help but find it a bit incredible.
Once they reached downstairs, Shen Xiaoyu dragged Zhang Zhaodi over to Jiang Peiqin: "Jiang, are you going to eat too?"
Walking nearby, Xinyan rolled her eyes at this question.
Jiang Peiqin glanced at Shen Xiaoyu from the corner of her eye but ignored her, turning directly to Xinyan: "The canteen number two has braised pork and dumplings today. Want to go?"
Xinyan knew this meant Jiang Peiqin didn't want to go with Shen Xiaoyu.
The dumplings at canteen number two are quite famous; they're always filled with cabbage and pork, but they taste really great, and you get vinegar with them, too.
Xinyan also wanted to try them: "Sure, what are we waiting for? I heard if we're late, we won't get any."
