Just as the ship was about to depart, Grandpa Ling Tianze realized that his concubine and son were not on board, but by then the ship had already left the dock, and disembarking was impossible.
A few days later, Ling Tianze's grandma and father returned, only to find the house sold and the Ling Family nowhere to be found. After much effort, they learned that the Ling Family had left and emigrated abroad.
Grandma Ling was so angry that she almost couldn't take it. Looking at her young son, she understood she couldn't let anything happen to herself and had to stay strong.
Fortunately, Ling Tianze's grandma was a resourceful woman. She thought she had to have some means of support, so when she was favored, she discreetly acquired some properties for herself. This prevented her from becoming homeless.
Little did she know, after painstakingly raising her son, who married and had children, that the good days would be short-lived, as something happened to her son and daughter-in-law.
