The father and daughter chatted a while longer before heading out together.
Su Jingsong was waiting outside. Seeing them come out, he waved to Xinyan and said, "Good morning, Xinyan."
Xinyan walked up with a smile: "Good morning, Uncle Su. Why didn't you come inside?"
Su Jingsong pointed at the car: "The car had some minor issues. I was busy fixing them, so I didn't go in."
Xinyan quickly asked, "Did you have breakfast?"
Su Jingsong replied with a laugh, "Sister Chen prepared it for me, I've eaten."
Han Jingchen glanced at his watch, "Let's go, I'll give you a ride to the school gate."
Xinyan waved her hand, "You guys go ahead, I'll walk there."
What a joke, it was just a few steps away; she didn't want people seeing her arrive by car.
Han Jingchen saw her face of refusal, "Alright then, we'll head off now. I'll come pick you up after work on Saturday so we can go back together."
Xinyan did not object, "Got it, hurry up and leave."
