Chapter 292 - Chapter 286 – Just Smile, That’s Enough

Since Alexandra was pregnant with Bronya, her body naturally couldn't be brought to this point in time.

But for Nagami, that was hardly a problem.

If he could reconstruct the bodies of fusion warriors, then duplicating the genetic structure of an ordinary human was practically child's play.

Thankfully, Nagami was a righteous and pure-hearted boy.

If such a power fell into the hands of someone with a dirty mind, it would turn into nothing more than a factory for indecent creations.

From another perspective, it would basically be like crafting a perfectly realistic human doll…

Shimmering light streamed from the void, countless particles gathering together and condensing into the shape of a body.

A graceful figure slowly emerged, her delicate curves paired with a snow-pale, flawless face—like an enlarged version of Bronya herself.

Nagami, however, felt nothing improper.

For one, this was his mother-in-law.

For another, as someone wielding the Herrscher of Reason's abilities while seeing the world through a special "Alpha Stigma eye," the so-called flesh before him was nothing more than an arrangement of chemical elements.

Carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen—more than sixty atoms and their microscopic structures.

Nagami admitted his preferences might be a bit unconventional perhaps even ahead of humanity's times.

But no matter how far his "XP system" evolved, there was no way any intelligent being would get aroused over atoms.

Once the body was complete, he used the power of Creation to turn it into living flesh.

Of course, he didn't forget to recreate clothing on Alexandra as well—going so far as to thoughtfully match it to Bronya's current outfit, making them look like a mother-daughter set.

Finally, he retrieved the soul sealed within the Void Genome's core and, and with the Herrscher of Sentience's power, merged it seamlessly into the new body, adjusting both until they were perfectly in sync.

And just like that—

A human was reborn.

"Your mother, Alexandra Zaychik…"

Bronya's small face was filled with bewilderment.

"Nagami, this…!"

She hadn't even processed what had just happened when Alexandra' lashes began to tremble.

Slowly, as though surfacing from the depths of an endless sea of consciousness, her eyes opened.

The first thing she saw was a girl—strange yet familiar.

Long silver-gray hair styled in Roman curls, a doll-like face more exquisite than any porcelain figure.

Strange, because Alexandra had never seen this face before.

Familiar, because… it was exactly how she had looked as a child.

The girl's expression was dazed, her hand clutching tightly onto the black-haired boy who had only briefly appeared in her life—but who had given her hope.

Nagami's last words before she lost consciousness echoed in her mind.

Her silver-gray eyes, so much like Bronya's, shimmered with a misty veil of tears.

"Bronya…"

It was a voice Bronya had never heard before—soft, tender, embracing everything like the vast ocean.

"Bronya!"

Alexandra bolted forward, throwing her arms around the petite girl.

Tears streamed down her cheeks, falling onto Bronya's face and leaving matching trails of warmth.

For once, Bronya's processors were overwhelmed.

The warmth spreading across her nerves, the gentle whispers by her ear—it didn't matter how rational she usually was.

Whether in battle, calmly outmaneuvering enemies on a sliver of health, or as the "Silver Wolf of Ural," showing no emotion even when cornered as a notorious assassin—

Right now, none of that mattered.

Right now, she was just a daughter standing before her mother.

And for the first time in her life, emotions she couldn't identify welled up in her chest.

Instinctively, Bronya turned toward the black-haired boy beside her, as if seeking guidance.

Nagami felt the stiffness in her hand, still tightly holding his.

He smiled gently, meeting the turbulent storm in her gray eyes, and nodded.

[You can let go of reason now. You don't have to suppress yourself like before. Right now, you're in the warmest place in the world. Let your feelings flow freely.]

[After that… just smile. That's enough.]

His voice echoed directly within her mind, and the next second, Nagami's figure disappeared before her eyes.

Once again, the endless blue ocean filled Bronya's vision.

It was like being wrapped in water-like warmth—something she had never felt from Cocolia.

"Mom…"

The whisper left her lips, and the arms around her trembled violently.

"Mom's here, Bronya… I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry!" Alexandra' soft voice quivered, her emotions on the brink of collapse. "I'll never leave you again!"

The thought of Bronya learning to fire a gun before she ever learned to hold a fork stabbed at Alexandra' heart like a knife, the pain almost enough to make her faint.

Perhaps it was blood ties, perhaps a mother-daughter bond, but Bronya felt her mother's thoughts as clearly as her own.

And for the first time since Seele had fallen into the Quantum Sea, Bronya's eyes that is usually as calm and deep as the abyss—blurred with tears, a shining droplet rolling down her cheeks to meet the ones already there.

"Mama!!!"

From the high vantage point of the Hyperion, Nagami watched the reunion and finally allowed himself a relieved smile.

"You really are a sinful man, dear husband."

Shadows rippled, and from them emerged a slender, graceful figure.

Without hesitation, she sat down beside him, her crimson eyes following his gaze to the reunited mother and daughter.

Kurumi.

"I bet you only came because you knew I wouldn't do anything to you while I'm in a good mood," Nagami muttered, dead-fish eyes half-lidded as he looked at the alluring spirit.

"If I hadn't prepared some distractions, your little 'dear husband' stunt would've gotten me killed."

"But I was only speaking the truth. Doesn't my dear husband admit our relationship?" Kurumi's wine-red eyes shimmered with unshed tears, her bitten lip painting her like a lover scorned.

"I recall when I 'proposed' to you, you didn't exactly accept."

Arms crossed, Nagami shot her a squint, unimpressed with her theatrics.

"I already admitted I was wrong," Kurumi purred, pressing a pale finger to her lips as she winked. "That's why I've been 'proposing' to you ever since—to prove my love for you."

"Love? Don't kid yourself. You're just after my body."

As her shadow spread, creeping toward him, Nagami smacked her forehead with a sharp hand chop.

"Move it yourself."

"Ehehe~"

Kurumi obediently put her legs together, hands resting neatly at her sides, tilting her head with an impish smile.

"Playing cute won't work either."
