Chapter 401 - Chapter 387 – Oh? Isn’t That “General Lightning Cannon”?

"Abolish the Sakoku Decree!!"

"Finally! The isolation policy is gone!"

"Now we can trade again!"

The decree spread like wildfire across Inazuma — not just a ripple, but a full-blown earthquake.

While few cared about the Vision Hunt Decree, the common folk's attention was fixated on something far more important — the end of Inazuma's national isolation.

After all, holders of a Vision were rare — not one in a million, but close enough.

For the vast majority of citizens, the Sakoku Decree had been the true shackle strangling their livelihoods.

"How… how did they even pull this off!?"

Thoma's eyes widened in disbelief.

Others might have been confused by the Shogun's sudden change of heart.

But Thoma, who had overheard every word of Nagami's deal with Lady Ayaka — already had a pretty good idea.

Still… what exactly did Nagami do?

And where did he and Lumine disappear to?

Before he could dwell on it further, the Raiden Shogun began to move.

The crowd's murmurs died instantly as all eyes locked onto her graceful figure, walking step by step toward the Statue of the Thousand-Armed, Hundred-Eyed Archon.

Her brown heels tapped lightly against the ground, each step sending out ripples through the air — clear, rhythmic, and almost melodic in the silence.

———————————————————————

[Nagami]: Oh? That was quick… Seems like there really are Fatui operatives in Inazuma's upper ranks.

———————————————————————

Nagami's double-body perception was sharp enough to detect a gaze that didn't belong.

Following the source, his vision shifted—

Far from the plaza, a cloaked boy stood atop a high ledge, watching the Shogun.

His expression showed no reverence toward a Archon — only a cold, icy indifference.

———————————————————————

[Nagami]: Heh. Isn't that General Lightning Cannon? Didn't expect him to show up in person.

Wait… since I'm using Ei's body right now, doesn't that technically make me his dad?

[Lumine]: Sure does!

———————————————————————

Lumine's cheerful voice echoed in his mind.

———————————————————————

[Nagami]: Then that makes me his mom, doesn't it?

[Lumine]: Naturally!

[Hehehe~ Then let's give this disobedient puppet of ours a proper lesson, shall we?]

———————————————————————

Hidden among the crowd, Lumine smirked, a glint of mischief in her golden eyes.

With a wave of her hand, a glowing rift opened before her.

"Lumine, wait—! Where are you going? And… how did you suddenly get such an incredible power?"

As her long-time travel companion, Paimon couldn't help but feel like Lumine had become harder and harder to understand ever since she met Nagami.

'Not that Paimon was jealous or anything… definitely not!\

"It just kinda… happened~ Maybe it's your good luck rubbing off on me, Paimon."

She poked Paimon's forehead with a playful smile. "Now, be good. I'm just going to discipline a naughty little child."

Scaramouche had once terrified Mona and ruined her date — she hadn't forgotten.

Now it was time for payback.

Nagami withdrew his gaze from Scaramouche's direction.

Lumine could handle it alone.

Though the Rift Fiend's spatial powers were nowhere near those of the Herrscher of the Void.

Lumine's mastery of space was on a completely different level — much like the gap between a bronze rookie and a crowned champion.

Turning back to the statue, Nagami's eyes fell upon the embedded Visions.

After a moment of contemplation, he pulled out the Electro Archon's Gnosis.

Under the authority of the Herrscher of the Void, Honkai energy transformed into Beelzebul's Electro element.

A surge of violet lightning flowed into the Gnosis, and the Shogun's slender frame began to glow with dazzling energy.

In an instant, Nagami gained full control over the Gnosis's power.

The statue trembled.

One by one, the sealed Visions broke free from its body, floating upward and circling the Raiden Shogun like radiant stars.

The violet light in her eyes shimmered with divine power — and at that moment, Nagami, wielding the Gnosis, truly was the Electro Archon.

From this divine perspective, he could see the status of all 99 Vision bearers across Inazuma.

"Go," he commanded softly, "return to your rightful owners."

The words rippled through the air, and all the floating Visions burst into radiant beams, streaking across the heavens like a meteor shower.

Under the Raiden Shogun's gaze, they flew back to their owners' hands — shining fragments of hope lighting up the Inazuman sky.

The onlookers could only stare in awe.

The sight of those falling stars would be etched in their hearts forever.

Many wept openly as they reclaimed their long-lost Visions.

Originally, Nagami had wanted Ei herself to return the Visions, but without her Gnosis, she would likely have left the task to the Tri-Commission — which wouldn't have carried the same meaning.

So he decided to handle it himself.

"Summon the Tri-Commission. Have them retrieve the updated decrees," he ordered.

Leaving those words behind, Nagami guided the Shogun's body back toward Tenshukaku.

Right now, he possessed the Raiden Shogun's Gnosis.

He was using the Shogun's body.

And his true self resided within Ei's inner realm — the Plane of Euthymia.

Those three factors combined made his disguise as Beelzebul absolutely perfect.

Even Celestia itself wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

———————————————————————

[Nagami]: Heh… what a perfect chance to sneak into Celestia. Wait, hmm? Did the mental link just cut off?

———————————————————————

Nagami could still sense Lumine's presence, but the familiar warmth of their intertwined thoughts had faded. It felt… oddly lonely.

He shook his head violently. "No, no, no—don't go down that road. You'll sound like a creep!"

Taking a deep breath, he refocused. "Alright… time to make preparations."

This infiltration wasn't going to be a reckless charge — not this time.

Sure, he could storm Celestia head-on if he wanted to, but that would be stupid.

Standing atop the Tenshukaku tower — the Raiden Shogun's meditation chamber — his slender form looked serene yet commanding.

Within the Plane of Euthymia, Nagami slowly opened his eyes.

The Core of the Herrscher of the Void floated down before him, radiating immense Honkai energy that filled the space.

That energy merged with the will that formed this inner realm, and within that convergence, a ghostly figure took shape — a perfect duplicate of Nagami.

It was Beelzebul.

The duplicate moved in sync with him, gently lifting the floating Gnosis.

"Celestia…" Nagami's lips curved into a grin. "Let's see what secrets you've been hiding."
