"You—You actually dared to kill Heino and Avery Jr.... How dare you?!"
A trembling voice echoed from the far end of the dining table.
The woman, clearly a pure-blood witch, looked to be a close associate of the Barlot family. She had come with Heino. Her eyes were wide in disbelief as she stared at the still form of Heino Barlot lying nearby. Her lips quivered, unable to process what was unfolding before her. Fear radiated from her as she cast a horrified glance at Aris, as though she were looking at a devil who had emerged from hell itself.
"Don't forget," she stammered, her voice shaky but laced with threat, "the two people from the Lovegood family are still in our hands!"
Her words seemed to embolden the other pure-blood wizards present, their voices rising in unison.
"That's right," one chimed in. "If you keep acting so recklessly, we can't guarantee the safety of those two!"
Another added, "I suggest we kill them now, to avenge Avery and Barlot!"
Their collective voices grew louder, their confidence bolstered by the notion of retaliation. But Aris, unfazed, simply watched them with a cold, calculating gaze.
"This bastard is far too arrogant! This is Malfoy Manor—how dare he ignore us like this?!"
"Kill him, and then the Shafiq family's property will be ours for the taking!"
The voices came thick and fast, full of anger and defiance.
Just then, from the direction of the dungeon leading from the living room, two black-robed wizards appeared, escorting two figures up the stairs. It was Xenophilius and Luna.
The pure-blood wizards, their faces twisted with fury, turned their hateful glares toward Aris.
"Think carefully," one of them sneered, "their lives are in our hands now!"
A few of the wizards advanced toward Luna and the other girl, wands raised, their intent clear.
"Do you dare to act?"
Aris sneered in return, showing no sign of urgency or fear.
This calm response, this cold indifference, sent a chill through the gathered pure-bloods, a wave of unease sweeping over them.
Originally, the biggest cards they had were Xenophilius and Luna.
They'd believed that holding these two as hostages would be enough to intimidate the boy before them.
But things didn't seem to be going as planned.
At this moment, there was no sign of panic or fear on Aris' face.
"Sign this document, or we'll kill them both immediately!" one of the pure-blood wizards growled, throwing a thick piece of parchment onto the table with a menacing sneer.
Aris glanced at it, noting that it appeared to be a property transfer document. Without even looking closely, he knew exactly what it was.
This was the real goal behind their actions: if Aris signed it, the wealth accumulated by the Shafiq family over centuries would be handed over to them in an instant.
"If you've got the guts and the power, just do it!" Aris smirked as he glanced at the document, completely unfazed.
"You really don't care whether they live or die?" The wizard who had tossed the document onto the table glared at Aris, his expression turning cold.
"I told you, if you've got the guts and the ability, just go for it!" Aris replied, his voice steady and calm. He eyed the wizard indifferently, showing no signs of concern.
"Stop wasting time with him. Let's kill one first and make sure he knows who's really in charge here!" Another wizard in a black robe raised his wand, aiming it directly at Luna.
To everyone's surprise, Luna remained utterly composed. A slight smile curled on her lips as she turned to Aris.
"Master, these people are so dim-witted. Can I take action now?"
Upon hearing this, the black-robed wizard froze for a moment, taken aback.
"Master? This little girl calls that Shafiq 'Master'?"
Lucius's expression tightened, a sinking feeling forming in his chest.
As for the other pure-blood wizards, they seemed baffled, exchanging confused looks.
They had all assumed that the little girl from the Lovegood family had become Aris's servant.
"Alright, do as you please!" Aris said with a nod towards Luna.
Before any of the wizards could react, Luna vanished from sight in an instant.
When she reappeared, she was standing right in front of the black-robed wizard who had aimed his wand at her. With a swift movement, her delicate hands closed around his neck.
Without warning, she unleashed a force far beyond what her small frame should have been capable of. With a single flick of her wrist, she hurled the wizard aside effortlessly.
The next moment, the black-robed wizard was slammed against the living room wall with the force of a cannonball, a sharp cry of pain echoing through the room.
Meanwhile, the pure-blood wizards stood frozen, eyes widening as Xenophilius suddenly took a step back, his form shrinking rapidly.
In the blink of an eye, Xenophilius had transformed into the appearance of a house-elf.
"Snoopy, excellent work!" Aris remarked, nodding in approval at the elf.
"Thank you, Master!" Snoopy replied with a bow, a hint of pride in his voice. "Your flawless transformation techniques made this task a breeze!"
With a snap of his fingers, the house-elf reappeared beside Aris, now standing tall with his arms crossed.
"You wretched wizards!" Snoopy hissed, "Snoopy will not allow you to harm the master!"
Another snap of his fingers, and the wands of the two black-robed wizards who had escorted them flew uncontrollably into Snoopy's hands.
It all happened so quickly that the pure-blood wizards on the field were left utterly stunned. They watched helplessly as the two "hostages" they'd been holding slipped from their control, unaware of when the switch had even happened!
Without this crucial advantage, they now faced the grim reality of having to confront Aris directly, and the consequences of that... well, no one dared to imagine them.
Aris had just demonstrated a level of power that sent a chill down their spines. Even with the backing of the Patton family, a direct confrontation seemed like a losing battle. They might even end up dead here.
The wizards, already weak-willed and accustomed to sitting on the fence, found themselves paralysed with fear, unable to act.
"How is this possible?!" Lucius whispered, staring at the scene in disbelief.
Lucius had checked the manor's protective enchantments several times, and there had been no sign of breach. The dungeon had been secure, with no indication of any intrusion.
So why, then, did the two "captives" suddenly turn into an elf and—another thing altogether...?
Lucius couldn't even begin to explain the transformation of "Luna." The girl looked exactly like the Lovegood child, yet she had just hurled a grown wizard across the room with nothing more than a flick of her wrist. What baffled him even more was that she hadn't used any wand or incantation.
Was this truly the power of a little girl? No, it couldn't be.
She couldn't possibly be Luna. She had to have been something—or someone—else in disguise.
Lucius, now gripped by fear, spun around to face Aris. He had heard what the house-elf had said. It was clear now—Aris was behind it all.
Aris had clearly used a form of Transfiguration magic beyond Lucius's understanding—he'd turned an elf into a wizard, and an unknown creature into a little human girl. This shattered everything Lucius had thought he knew about Transfiguration. He couldn't even begin to comprehend how Aris had pulled it off.
"Mr. Shafiq, I believe there must be some misunderstanding here..." Lucius started backing away, his earlier confidence completely drained. The power Aris had displayed was far beyond what they'd initially expected from an eleven-year-old wizard.
To perform such a complex and bewildering transformation spell? Even seasoned pure-blood wizards like himself couldn't manage that! How could anyone believe an eleven-year-old could wield that kind of power?
"Misunderstanding?" Aris's voice was calm, his lips curving into a slight smile as he turned to face Lucius. He then scanned the other wizards in the room, his tone still collected. "Do you all think this is a misunderstanding?"
At that moment, Luna had already moved in front of another black-robed wizard. She stretched out one hand, gripping his neck with ease. Under her pressure, the wizard had almost no chance to fight back, and his wand clattered to the floor.
But rather than throwing him aside like she had with the previous wizard, Luna held him in place, her gaze sweeping across the other pure-bloods in the room. Her eyes gleamed with defiance, and a hint of challenge lingered in her expression.
"Shall we attack together, then?" she said, her tone dripping with insolence. "There are only three of them, and one measly house-elf..."
"Right," another voice chimed in, filled with rage. "As long as we can subdue them before the Patton family's support arrives, we can finish this."
Several of the pure-blood wizards stood fuming, their faces twisted in fury. Teeth clenched, they raised their wands, pointing them at Luna.
Despite her youth, Luna gave off an unsettling aura. Her confidence, combined with the power she had just demonstrated, made the wizards more unnerved by her than even Aris.
At that moment, both Henry and the house-elf, Snoopy, grew visibly tense. Nearly twenty pure-blood wizards were gathered in the room, and if they all decided to act at once, there was no way they could handle it. Aris might be injured in the chaos.
"Master, you go first!" Henry said instinctively, stepping forward to shield Aris.
Snoopy, quick to react, waved his wand, summoning a faint but sturdy light shield that shimmered in front of the three of them. It would block any incoming energy spells from the enemy.
Luna, however, seemed unfazed, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Want to fight?" she asked, a grin spreading across her face. "Well, that's exactly what I was hoping for..."
With a swift motion, Luna hurled the black-robed wizard she'd been holding at the fearless pure-blood wizards. The man's body flew through the air, crashing toward the group with an unsettling force.
"I was getting worried you wouldn't dare!" Luna added, her voice laced with challenge and a hint of triumph.
As Luna attacked once again, the living room erupted into chaos, the sound of incantations filling the air.
The pure-blood wizards, taken by surprise, quickly raised their wands. Spells flew through the air, aimed directly at 'Luna.'
The black-robed wizard who had been thrown was the first to suffer, desperately attempting to block the barrage of spells.
"Roar~!"
A powerful, earth-shaking dragon's roar rang through the room.
In an instant, 'Luna's' petite form leaped into the air and, mid-flight, transformed back to her true shape.
Aris had sensed that her transformed form was limiting her, and so, without hesitation, she shifted back into her dragon form.
Thankfully, the spacious main living room of Malfoy Manor was large enough to accommodate her transformation—had it been a smaller space, the entire house might've crumbled under the force of the change.
With a powerful sweep of her wings, the Dark Dragon—an ancient, unique creature—commanded the room.
Several spells shot toward her dragon form, but they were harmless, dissipating like a mere tickle against her tough scales.
Unless a wizard of Dumbledore's calibre showed up, there was no way these pure-blood wizards could break through the magical defences of the Dark Dragon, let alone cause any harm.
"Everyone, get down!"
In this situation, Iris couldn't be bothered to use any magic.
Relying on her sheer physical strength as a Dark Dragon, she lunged forward, slamming into the attacking wizards with a force that sent them flying.
One by one, the wizards were sent sprawling, crashing into the walls with a thud.
In the blink of an eye, the tables were turned. The pure-blood wizards, who had once had the advantage in numbers, were now scattered and defeated, left dazed and groaning on the floor.
With a deafening roar, Iris announced her dominance, and the entire room fell eerily silent.
The only sounds that remained were the cries of wizards stuck to the walls, slowly sliding down as they crumpled to the floor.
"Dragon!!!?"
"A wise dragon!!!?"
"Oh, Merlin's stinky socks, how is this even possible?!"
"What kind of monster is this? She can even talk?!"
"We're actually fighting a giant dragon with human-like intelligence...?"
The remaining pure-blood wizards who were still standing froze in place, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. The weight of the dragon's presence was suffocating, like they were trapped in the depths of hell. An overwhelming wave of fear washed over them, freezing them in their tracks.
None dared raise their wands again. Several of them dropped to their knees, prostrating themselves before Iris, shaking with fear.
In that moment, they had completely lost the will to fight. Their only thought was to surrender, hoping it might spare their lives.
It was like the aftermath of Voldemort's fall from power—just as many had abandoned their pride as pure-bloods to survive.
But Iris had no intention of showing mercy.
With a mighty roar, Iris's dragon form shook the room, sending the remaining pure-blood wizards sprawling to the floor. They clutched their heads in agony, as if struck by some invisible, overwhelming mental force. Their bodies trembled uncontrollably, as if paralysed, completely at the mercy of the magic that had overwhelmed them.
"Master, it's done!" Iris transformed back into her usual form and nestled contentedly into Aris' arms, her expression radiating pride—almost as if she was saying, "I did all this!"
"Well done!" Aris murmured, his voice soft as he gently stroked the little dragon's head.
He then turned towards Henry, his tone firm but calm. "Gather everyone from the Barton family. From now on, I'll leave everything to you."
"Remember... surrender all your property, and you'll avoid death. As for those who resist... well, they'll die!"
With those cold words, the boy turned on his heel and began walking toward the manor's exit.
As he passed Lucius, Aris suddenly stopped. He looked at him with a knowing glint in his eyes, a smile playing at the corner of his lips.
"Mr. Malfoy, about the compensation for the gate of your manor..."
