"Amazing talent!"

Nicolas Flamel's eyes gleamed as he fixed them on Aris.

"Of course, if you're interested, you can absolutely join me in this experiment. The Vitality Revitaliser works wonders for old codgers like us. One draught and it restores the body's overall functions considerably!"

"You agree, don't you, Albus?" Nicolas suddenly turned to Dumbledore.

"I'm not quite old enough to be in need of a revitalising potion, am I?" Dumbledore smiled faintly, then gave Nicolas a meaningful look.

"As for you… if you don't take some of this, your body will be reaching its limits before long."

He then glanced at Aris. "If you've the interest, lend him a hand."

"Professor, please don't say that!" Aris quickly waved his hands in protest.

"Senior Flamel's mastery of alchemy is far beyond my own. I'm just a bit sharp, that's all—and maybe I've read a few extra books."

"Of course—since you've invited me, I'll gladly follow your lead."

With that, Aris gave a light wave of his hand, altering the runes on the fusion device before neatly reassembling it.

"This should do it. Senior, you can try restarting the device now."

"Well done—a flawless adjustment. Even I couldn't have managed it better!" Nicolas Flamel admitted, watching closely as Aris reworked and optimised the runes with such steady confidence. The fluidity of his movements and the utter lack of hesitation made the old alchemist nod in approval once more.

"I still struggle to believe an eleven-year-old boy could grasp such advanced alchemical runes."

"Thank you for the compliment, Senior," Aris replied with a modest smile.

In truth, the reason he'd been able to spot the flaw in the experiment was thanks to Moss. Moments earlier, Moss had recorded every step and scrap of data from Flamel's process, then analysed and reconstructed it all. With the information so complete and clear, the deduction had gone off without a hitch.

Not only were the critical errors flagged up, but adjustment plans were also produced.

Such was the power of Moss—the highly intelligent magical device from the Otherworld, where elemental magic civilisation had reached extraordinary heights.

It was no exaggeration to say that, provided there was enough data and theory to work from, Moss alone could well allow the elemental system to flourish in this world.

Most importantly, alchemy itself shared a surprising amount of common ground with the theory of elemental magic.

"Right then—let's begin!"

With a grave expression, Nicolas Flamel restarted the experiment.

The devices strung together across the workbench whirred back to life. A steady buzzing filled the air, accompanied by faint ripples of energy that pulsed from the machines. Aside from the hum of the equipment, the entire laboratory was silent.

Nicolas Flamel and Aris kept their eyes fixed on the devices as they ran.

Dumbledore too watched with keen interest, casting the occasional glance at Aris and giving a small nod, clearly quite pleased with the boy's performance.

Before long, a faint glow began to shimmer inside the culture tank of the main device.

That was where the ingredients were stored—where the Vitality Revitaliser would finally take shape. If the experiment succeeded, then in future, so long as materials were plentiful, Nicolas could use this very setup to mass-produce the priceless potion.

A draught capable of restoring the body's functions.

It was the sort of miracle medicine that countless elderly wizards would fight tooth and nail to obtain.

In many ways, it was no different from a magical elixir for staving off old age.

"The device is running smoothly," Aris murmured.

"No issues with the material ratio."

"The energy cycle's entered a stable phase—that should mean success!"

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the device on the workbench began to tremble faintly.

The magical energy slowly broke down the materials within the culture tank, piece by piece, before reworking them in a precise sequence—channelled through alchemical runes and refined by potion-brewing methods.

From this process, tiny sparks of energy catalysed the birth of a pale green liquid.

Half an hour later, the chain of devices reached its final catalytic stage.

The buzzing across the laboratory grew louder, filling the air with tension.

Meanwhile, the pale green liquid within the culture tank darkened gradually, signalling the final transformation.

The Vitality Revitaliser was nearly complete.

"It's done!"

The three of them exclaimed together.

At once, every device on the bench let out a unified hum. Moments later, the circulating energy within the machinery weakened, then finally ebbed away, dissipating entirely.

At the same moment, the liquid in the culture tank deepened completely into a dark green hue.

Aris could feel it—the rich breath of life pulsing out from within.

"It looks in fine condition—enough for two bottles at least!"

With a swift flick of his wand, Nicolas Flamel caused the tank to open slowly. Two neat globes of dark green liquid floated out, slipping cleanly into a pair of small bottles.

Flamel snatched up one, downing it in a single gulp.

The other drifted to hover before Aris.

"This… is for me?" Aris asked, startled by the gesture.

"The success of this experiment is thanks to your timely discovery of the fault—and your solution," Nicolas declared firmly. "You've earned it."

He then cast a quick glance at Dumbledore.

"And besides, Albus has already said he doesn't need the stuff!"

After swallowing the revitalising draught, Flamel's frail body seemed to stir with new energy—his movements growing sharper, his presence more lively.

The skin that had been wrinkled and lifeless now looked far rosier.

This was the body of a man who had lived for more than six centuries—practically a living fossil—yet the energy from the revitalising potion had breathed new life into him. It was astonishing.

In that moment, Aris truly felt a deep sense of awe for Nicolas Flamel's brilliance.

Without the vast trove of knowledge gathered through Flamel's centuries of research, Moss would never have been able to devise the optimal solution for the experiment.

On the surface, it seemed as though Aris had helped Nicolas. But in truth… he had simply leaned on Moss's ability to analyse and summarise.

"Take it," Dumbledore said with a slight nod toward Aris. "With this device, Nicolas can brew as many of these potions as he likes. Perhaps one day, you'll find a use for it yourself."

Dumbledore's gaze lingered on the boy, his eyes full of meaning, as though something had crossed his mind.

That man who slipped out of Nurmengard—he's likely recovered quite a bit by now, hasn't he?

That man would definitely come seeking out the boy before him.

Dumbledore could only sigh inwardly, praying things wouldn't spiral in the worst possible direction.

"This… I don't reckon I need this stuff," Aris said with a faint, amused shake of his head.

He had no idea Grindelwald had broken free from Nurmengard Tower. To him, the potion seemed unnecessary.

After all, while it could extend life, its greatest effect was on the elderly.

If Aris were to drink it now, it would hardly make a difference.

He was young, brimming with vitality—this draught would be about as useful to him as plain water.

Still… if this potion could truly be mass-produced, it would open up staggering business opportunities.

Perhaps it was worth discussing a partnership with Nicolas Flamel?

With the Shafiq family's business network behind it, they could have the entire wizarding world clamouring for the revitaliser in no time at all.
