Chapter 211 - Tonight’s Bill Is on Young Master Xue

Other than the Tianzi Number One room, all the other private gold-member rooms were open for selection.

However, there were always a few guests who especially cared about their face — they would insist on the higher-ranked rooms. Even if someone was already inside, they would still make a fuss about it.

At that point, whether you had the qualifications to stay in one of those top-ranked rooms depended entirely on your own ability.

When they arrived at the Tianzi Number Two private room, the waitress stopped and politely reminded Ao Tian, saying, "Sir, you must be a regular here, so you should know that fighting is forbidden in Yijue Lou. If another guest asks you to change rooms, I hope you'll think carefully and act wisely."

Her words carried an implied meaning: If you want to go in, think clearly about the possible consequences. The Tianzi Number Two room isn't easy to enter. If you're lucky and no face-loving big shots come tonight, then fine — but if your luck's bad…

The fact that she didn't recognize Ao Tian showed he wasn't one of the upper-class figures of Heaven Dou City. If a dispute broke out, the one who'd suffer a loss would definitely be him.

That's why she gave that subtle warning.

"Go in," Ao Tian said indifferently, unmoved.

How could he not hear the hidden meaning in her words? If he were the type to be scared by that, he wouldn't be Ao Tian.

The waitress felt a little disappointed. "Alright then."

She opened the door and led Ao Tian and his companions inside.

The private room was spacious — besides a dining table, there was a tea area, a chess table, several soft sofas, and even a small stage.

Artificial hills, flowing water, and small trees decorated the space, creating quite a refined atmosphere.

Ao Tian and the others took their seats.

"Honored guests, please place your order," the waitress said with her hands neatly folded in front of her stomach, smiling as she waited beside them.

Though she smiled outwardly, inwardly she was already mourning for Ao Tian and his group.

These few young people probably won't even finish their meal before someone kicks them out, she thought.

Ao Tian took the menu and quickly marked several dishes, then tossed it to Xiao Wu.

Xiao Wu glanced down, and her eyes immediately widened in shock. "These are way too expensive!" she exclaimed.

The cheapest dishes cost dozens of gold soul coins, while the ones Ao Tian had just picked were all priced in the hundreds.

Xiao Wu smacked her lips, then passed the menu to Zhu Zhuqing.

Zhu Zhuqing took one look, said nothing, and quietly pushed it toward Gu Yue Na.

Zhu Zhuqing didn't have much money, so she didn't dare order anything.

Ning Rongrong rolled her eyes. "Didn't we agree this meal's on me? Just order whatever you want — we're all sisters here, no need to be so polite."

Gu Yue Na accepted the menu, marked a few items, and then handed it over to Ning Rongrong.

The waitress took a quick glance at their choices — all of them were the restaurant's signature dishes, and each one expensive. She mentally tallied it up; the meal was already nearing a thousand gold soul coins.

She couldn't help looking at Ning Rongrong, thinking, Such bold words — who exactly is this girl?

Ning Rongrong then marked a few more dishes, removed her veil, and handed the menu to the waitress.

"That's all. Please serve them quickly."

As the waitress reached for the menu, her eyes instinctively landed on Ning Rongrong's face.

Just one look, and her body trembled as she blurted out, "Miss Ning! It's truly an honor to have you here!"

Ning Fengzhi, the Sect Master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, was one of the most distinguished diamond-level guests here — so, naturally, the waitstaff all recognized his precious daughter.

Looks like I was blind and too talkative earlier, the waitress thought.

Ning Rongrong gave a deliberately composed nod and responded faintly, "Mm."

"You may leave," she said.

"Yes, miss. Would you like to request any geisha?" the waitress asked.

"What's a geisha?" Xiao Wu asked curiously.

Ning Rongrong explained, "They're women dressed in revealing clothes who can sing, dance, play instruments, or flute — very sao. The filthy men who come here love ordering a bunch of them."

As she said that, she shot a glance at Ao Tian.

"No need," Gu Yue Na said coolly, her tone soft but carrying absolute authority.

The waitress looked toward Ning Rongrong for confirmation.

Ning Rongrong waved her hand. "No, thank you. Just bring the food."

"Understood." The waitress bowed and left.

Xiao Wu sighed. "Rongrong, I didn't expect you to have such status here."

"Of course," Ning Rongrong said, regaining her sense of pride. "My father's the most distinguished diamond guest here. Basically, all the staff recognize me."

Then she turned to Ao Tian, half-angry. "Ao Tian, you're actually a gold member here and didn't tell me in advance? Were you trying to make me look stupid?"

Ao Tian smiled. "You seemed to be enjoying yourself showing off. I didn't want to ruin your fun."

"You—! You're infuriating!" Ning Rongrong stomped her feet in frustration.

At that moment, pleasant music drifted in from the main hall outside.

Curious, Xiao Wu walked to the door and peeked out.

On one side of the grand hall stood a large stage, where several graceful and beautiful geisha were performing.

The one playing the qin was modestly dressed, but the dancers were wearing revealing outfits — much of their smooth, fair skin was exposed, with only a few thin veils covering their more private areas.

Their enchanting movements, elegant figures, and flashes of spring scenery made the diners in the hall cheer loudly.

Xiao Wu quickly shut the door, her face red. "Shameless! Those men aren't any better either."

Ning Rongrong, long used to the sight, said casually, "Guests eating in the hall can watch for free. But if you're in a private room, you have to order geisha separately — and the ones you get are much more beautiful than those outside."

"Wow, Rongrong, you sure know a lot. Don't tell me you've ordered them before?" Xiao Wu teased.

"I'm a girl! How could I order something like that?" Ning Rongrong said.

"What a shame there aren't male geisha — otherwise you could order a few," Xiao Wu joked.

"There actually are," Ning Rongrong said.

"Men do that too?" Xiao Wu's eyes widened, utterly shocked.

Just imagining men twisting and dancing seductively on stage made her feel disgusted.

"Of course," Ning Rongrong said. "The male geisha are all handsome and well-built. Those rich older ladies love them."

As they chatted, the dishes began arriving.

Xiao Wu praised every bite, and even Zhu Zhuqing and Gu Yue Na nodded in approval.

Ning Rongrong smiled proudly. "The chefs here are at imperial-court level. If we're talking about the best food in Heaven Dou City, this place is definitely number one."

Just then, a commotion rose from outside — many people seemed to be standing up to greet someone.

"What's going on?" Xiao Wu asked curiously, glancing toward the window.

The private room's door was closed, but there was a small side window draped only with light silk.

Through it, they could see a crowd rising to their feet.

Suddenly, a young man's slightly frivolous voice rang out:

"Everyone, enjoy yourselves — tonight's expenses are on Young Master Xue!"

The entire hall erupted into thunderous cheers.
