Chapter 285: Teacher Harry's Online Teaching and Dragon Aiden's Casual Participation
In the invisible dreamscape, the secret society students felt like they were being stuffed into a toilet, spinning endlessly.
A dragon nestled in the clouds held threads in his hands, constantly swaying them.
"Teacher, stop playing around," Nura sighed.
"Oh, oops." The dragon, who had been grinning just moments before, realised he'd gotten carried away.
He quickly placed the Hogwarts group onto the cloud layer.
"Bloody hell, do we have to go through this every time we come here?" Ron said, standing up and supporting himself against a cloud.
"Cough, well, it's the first time opening; it's still in debugging mode. It's stabilised now. This won't happen again next time," Aiden said, awkwardly making excuses.
"Alright, let's not waste time. We need to elect a society leader," Hermione suggested.
Everyone looked toward Harry.
"What? I don't... I mean, why not choose Aiden?" Harry said, somewhat fearful.
"Kid, I don't have time to manage your society. See these two kids? They're wizards sent by the Egyptian Ministry, and I still have to teach them."
Aiden pointed to Amin and Nura behind him. Amin secretly made a face at him, then got knocked on the head by Nura's chop.
"Still should be Harry," "I also think Harry's good." "Of course it's the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter!"
Through unanimous selection, Harry became the leader of the secret society.
Then they began choosing the society's name.
"Anti-Umbridge Alliance", "Ministry of Magic Are Idiots Group", "Defence Association"...
Various names were suggested, but none seemed satisfactory to everyone.
Ginny suggested, "How about choosing a name the Ministry fears most: Dumbledore's Army?"
This suggestion gained everyone's agreement, and the secret society was renamed Dumbledore's Army.
"Cough, I should remind you. You can call yourselves Dumbledore's Army behind closed doors, but don't have any written records or insignia." Aiden threw them a bit of cold water.
"Why?" Ron asked with puzzlement.
"Because the Ministry is attacking Dumbledore by framing him for using students to secretly organise an army. If D.A. is discovered, it would confirm this rumour, putting Dumbledore at a disadvantage. You don't want to see Hogwarts completely fall into Ministry hands, do you?"
Aiden gave Ron a brief explanation. Whether the other young wizards understood didn't matter. What mattered was that Hermione was thinking.
"So we need a name to use publicly," Hermione said, stroking her chin.
"Let's call it Dream Chasers then," Harry suggested, looking at the surrounding clouds.
The leader had spoken, and since the codename wasn't unpleasant, everyone quickly approved.
"Now, let's begin our association's first activity. Today's lesson is the Disarming Charm..."
Harry immediately entered teaching mode, while Aiden lounged on the sidelines.
"See that girl called Luna? She's an example of how excessive mental power can affect magical control."
A certain dragon sat like an old woman on a sofa made from clouds, weaving something with silver-white threads.
"Pfft." Amin was amused by Aiden's actions, and the channel he was weaving immediately broke.
A ruler extended from Aiden's hand, smacking Amin on the head with a sharp sound.
"I told you to focus when using mental power. Right now you're using my spirit threads. When you return to Egypt, you'll be using your own reserves. How much accumulation would be wasted if you messed up?" Aiden scolded.
"Tch, I know," Amin pouted, while Nura beside him also quietly pursed her lips.
Pfft. She had also been distracted. Impartially, Aiden gave her the same ruler treatment on her head.
"Sorry, teacher," Nura said, lowering her head.
"Speaking of which, why did you suddenly start calling me teacher?"
Aiden waved his hand, indicating the two could take a break.
"Because a teacher is a teacher," Nura said, smiling at Aiden, successfully overturning the vinegar jar beside her.
"Hmph, probably because a certain teacher is too attractive," Amin said, crossing his arms and looking away.
Nura sensed Amin's jealousy and reached out to pat his head. He immediately returned to his previous... appearance.
Aiden secretly gave Nura a thumbs up.
After practising with the two for a while longer, Aiden sent them back to sleep.
Creating pathways was extremely draining on mental power. The two underage children had plenty of time to learn slowly.
There was no need to rush them to learn quickly. Such an approach would actually hinder their growth and isn't what a good teacher should do.
With nothing else to do, Aiden could participate in the nearby practice session.
Parting the clouds, Aiden walked in.
"Aiden." Ron and Hermione's duel was no less impressive than that of adult wizards.
Even Ron, trained by Aunt Molly for years, had the leisure to greet Aiden.
"Don't underestimate me!" Hermione had also undergone three years of Mind's Edge Duelling Club training.
Taking advantage of Ron's distraction, she hit him with a Disarming Charm, knocking away his wand.
"Haha." Aiden decisively sent mocking laughter toward his cousin.
"Shut up." Ron's face reddened.
Seeing the two had determined a winner, people gathered around.
"Haven't been active in a while. How about a duel?" Aiden suggested.
"Me against you?" Ron said, his eyes widening as he immediately began shaking his head.
"You, Harry, and Hermione, plus George and Fred, and Ginny too," Aiden cheerfully sent them a group battle invitation.
"Really?" George said, raising an eyebrow.
"You can't use those weird abilities of yours!" Fred imposed restrictions.
"Fine, magic only," Aiden nodded.
"You..." Ron wanted to say more but was interrupted by Hermione's elbow.
"Don't be cowardly. He's your younger brother. With so many restrictions, why not ask him not to use magic at all?" Hermione couldn't help but complain.
A certain Dream Weaver, doing stretches, stared in silence. "..."
After warm-up exercises, seven people stood on the platform facing off.
Zacharias stood in the middle as referee, raising his wand and firing a firework.
Everyone watched the firework rise into the air and explode. The duel began.
Ron showed no hesitation in throwing a Stunning Spell at Aiden, stating this was definitely not personal revenge.
Aiden closed his eyes, slightly moved one small step to the left, and the red spell shattered a piece of cloud behind him.
"He's a Legilimens! Focus fire on him to prevent him from reading our minds to avoid attacks!" Ron sold out his brother's intelligence without hesitation.
Then Harry, Hermione, Ginny, and the twins simultaneously began firing Disarming Charms at Aiden.
Aiden's finger lightly hooked, and the cloud Ron had shattered flew over to form a shield, blocking four Disarming Charms.
The shield's sudden appearance caused the five to lose visual lock on Aiden.
With a spatial flicker, Aiden appeared behind Ron.
"Your magical power, technique, and accuracy have all improved so much. Well done."
Then a hand glowing with white light reached toward Ron's forehead...
