'Alright Liz, just one more year, you can do this', Elizabeth Allan prepped herself as she closed the door to her jeep after parking it in her assigned spot in the back of Midtown High School, 'Gotta love senior priority.'

"Phew thanks for picking me up Liz, just my luck my car battery died on the first day of school," Betty Brant spoke up as she stepped out of the passenger door dressed in a pair of figure-hugging jeans, a black tube top, and a cropped denim jacket.

Liz rolled her eyes at her best friend's antics, "I told you that the warning sign on your dash wasn't a suggestion."

"Ugh, I don't want to take it to the shop, the mechanics always stare at my tits and ass," Betty bemoaned, stomping her foot which had the intended effect of making her chest bounce enticingly.

"Yeah but that's why you go, bat your eyelashes at them enough and they'll give you a special discount," Liz scoffed as she joined her friend as they started to walk across the parking lot.

However, before they could take even ten steps the deep purr of a powerful engine caught their attention and in one synchronized turn, Liz and Betty looked over as a black matte motorcycle with tan leather grips and saddle pulled into an empty parking spot.

"Oh my god, who the hell is that?" Betty gasped as she grabbed onto Liz's arm and stared hard at the boy who had managed to tame the metal beast.

Liz watched with rapt attention as the rider sat up in his saddle wearing a heavy leather jacket, cargo jeans boots, and an expensive-looking cotton V-neck that revealed his muscular chest.

"Come on, come on take off the helmet," Betty muttered and a second later the mystery rider fulfilled her request reaching up and pulling off his helmet in one smooth motion.

Liz's eyes widened as she watched the cascade of perfect brown hair settle around a hauntingly beautiful face and frame a set of piercing amber eyes.

"Liz, can you take me back home real quick? I need to change my panties. I think I just came a little," Betty whispered, finally eliciting a reaction from Liz who grimaced and pulled her arm away which only made Betty laugh

"Ew, why would you say that?!" Liz muttered before she looked back at the rider, something about his face had shaken loose a forgotten memory, "Does he look familiar to you?"

"Yeah from my dreams-actually now that you bring it up he really does," Betty agreed as she cocked her head to the side.

For a moment both Betty and Liz were silent as they tried to connect a face and a name.

Liz was the first to connect the dots and now it was her turn to gasp and grab Betty's arm, "Oh my god it's Harry!"

"W-what? You mean Osborn? There's no way…holy shit it's Harry Osborn."

Liz and Betty watched as their old, presumed dead, friend hoisted a backpack onto his shoulder before turning to look directly at them. A flash of recognition across two amber orbs cemented both their worst fear and hope as Harry walked over with sure confident steps and a smirk across his lips.

"He's coming over," Betty whispered harshly as she rapidly tapped Liz's arm, "Quick, how do I look?"

Liz scoffed, "Would you relax, this isn't the Bachelor!"

"Easy for you to say! Not all of us had a full roster waiting for us after Harry got sick!" Betty muttered as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a tube of lipgloss she hastily applied.

"And just what the hell is that supposed to mean?" Liz hissed though Betty only rolled her eyes, "Please, everyone knew you had a major thing for Harry, but then again so did half our grade including myself. But like I always say chicks before dicks."

"But now you plan to hop on Harry's before anyone else can?" Liz asked sarcastically.

Betty grinned while staring at Harry like he was made of solid gold, "You bet your sweet tits I am. Now that you're all hitched with Flash, I'm not letting some random high school floozy take my piggy bank!"

Liz groaned and shook her head, "Don't tell me you're just doing this for cash?"

"Cash and access to whatever rich people serum Harry got his hands on that gives him flawless skin," Betty replied without missing a beat before falling silent as Harry stepped within earshot

"And here I was wondering if I would recognize anyone after three years," Harry spoke as he grinned at Liz and Betty, stopping only when there was less than a foot between them.

"Oh my god, Harry you're alive!" Betty exclaimed in an bubbly voice as she threw herself at Harry who received her with a hug, "A fucking text would have been nice a quick, 'Hey I didn't die from some unknown terminal illness and I'm coming back senior year'."

"Sorry I've been busy catching up after spending the last three years in a coma," Harry muttered calmly before he made eye contact with Liz who hadn't moved any closer, the corner of his mouth pulling up in a cocky smirk, "What afraid I'm contagious?"

Liz blushed in embarrassment and quickly shook her head, "N-no I-I, i-it's just-"

"Her bonehead of a bae doesn't like Liz hugging other dudes," Betty interrupted her friend as she shifted to Harry's side sticking to him like glue. Though Harry didn't seem to mind as without hesitation he slid his arm around Betty's waist ending with his hand on her hip as if it belonged there, "This bonehead got a name?"

Liz rolled her eyes, "His name's Flash and he's not a bonehead."

"Right…how many concussions did he have last year? I stopped counting after three," Betty asked while mockingly tapping her chin in thought.

Liz shot Betty a murderous glare that promised unspeakable acts of violence all while Harry let out a deep cool chuckle that sent a shiver down both girl's spines, "Well this has been fun, but I gotta get going, meeting with the principal."

Harry pulled his arm away from Betty who looked physically pained at the separation, "We gonna see you again or you gonna take another three-year nap?"

Instead of responding, Harry looked Betty up and down, pausing at her breasts, exposed stomach, and hips, not bothering to hide his gaze, "My bike, after school, don't keep me waiting."

Then without waiting for a reply Harry turned around and walked away without looking back, leaving Betty and Liz in stunned silence.

After a second Betty let out a short groan, "Okay now I really need a change of panties."

"You guys will never guess who we saw in the parking lot this morning!" Betty exclaimed as she sat down with Liz at their lunch table, food trays in hand.

"Is it whoever owns that motorcycle?" Mary Jane Wattson or MJ asked with faint disinterest as if she could barely be bothered with the situation, "People have been talking about it nonstop all day."

"Yes, but you'll never guess who it is," Betty grinned with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Some dude named Harry? Heard some people talking about it in the third period," Gwen Stacey answered immediately before taking a bite of her food and the wind out of Betty's sails, "You're no fun you know?"

Gwen smirked but continued eating as if nothing had happened.

"Wait Harry's back?" MJ asked now fully interested which earned a collective smirk from her three friends.

"Easy red, I already called dibs," Betty announced with a grin.

"I just asked a question," MJ muttered with a roll of her eyes before glaring at Bett, "Regardless, what the hell did you call dibs when the rest of us are now just finding out?!"

Betty stuck her tongue out taunting MJ, "You know what they say the quickest slit gets the dick."

Liz choked as she went to take a sip of her water, "W-who the fuck ever said that?"

"Pretty sure she did at the homecoming after-party," Gwen muttered, completely immune to Betty's antics.

"I don't remember saying that but then again I don't remember anything from that night after my first shot," Betty admitted before shaking her head, "Regardless it doesn't matter, I already got a date with Harry after school!"

"What?!" MJ shouted betraying her supposed lack of interest which she quickly tried to cover up with a cough, "W-what do you mean by a date?"

Betty smirked but decided to spare MJ from further embarrassment, "Well I'll be honest the D word was never said, but Harry did tell me to meet him on his bike after school. And this was after he put his hand on my waist within a minute of talking to him."

"Yeah after you literally threw yourself at him," Liz pointed out only for Betty to wave her words away, "Eh, pointless details."

"So what's this guy's deal?" Gwen asked, "Why haven't I heard about him before today?"

Betty looked at Gwen confused for a moment before realization flashed across her eyes, "Oh yeah that's right you didn't go to our middle school. Well, Harry was an old friend of ours but at the beginning of freshman year, he just didn't show up one day. Eventually, his dad told our parents that Harry had fallen ill because of some genetic disorder and we probably would never see him again."

"But today he just shows up out of thin air?" Gwen questioned, "In perfect health?"

Betty nodded with a lewd smile, "Well he looked pretty healthy to me."

"Harry's dad probably spent a fortune on his treatment," MJ commented as she reached up and tied her shiny ruby hair back into a ponytail.

Gwen glanced at MJ out of the corner of her eye, "What are his parents loaded?"

"I think loaded is an understatement," Liz muttered ruefully, "Harry's dad is Norman Osborn."

Gwen froze for a second as a complicated look passed over her eyes, "Norman Osborn? Like the CEO of Oscorp?"

"What other Osborns do you know?" Betty answered with a proud grin, "And I got a date with him."

"Christ you're pathetic," MJ muttered only for Betty to flip her off, "Admit it, you're just jealous I got to him first red."

MJ fell silent content to glare at Betty for a heartbeat before turning back to her food.

Shaking her head at her friends' antics Liz glanced over at Gwen only to find her staring at the tabletop with an absent look in her eyes, "Gwen you alright?"

The short-haired blonde blinked once before looking up with a forced smile on her face, "Yeah, just got lost in thought for a second."

"That's been happening a lot recently, Are you sure there's nothing going on?" Liz asked grilling Gwen who sat up straight, "I'm fine I promise Liz, just haven't been sleeping enough."

"If you say so," Liz muttered letting Gwen rest in peace who let out a quiet sigh of relief though her mind was still racing from what she had just learned.
