"The Force is with us." Kikha smiled as she sipped from a large bowl of broth. A few of her tentacles were also enjoying a nice bath in some other bowls of soupy liquid. It wasn't plain water, but it was the best they could get out of a Mynock.
"Hell yeah it is! Hahahah~!" Asmodeus on the other hand, was enjoying a huge rack of ribs that was almost as big as his own torso!
"I'm so glad you're feeling better now, Master." Daesha almost teared up as she ate small bites of her hunk of tail meat. They had plenty of seasonings left, but very few other ingredients, so there were limited options for them to choose from in terms of meals. Fortunately the Mynocks actually taste pretty good on their own.
"It might take me a few days to recover, but there shouldn't be any lasting damage. In fact, Nautolans can usually survive quite a long time in a nearly desiccated state. You two didn't need to worry so much. And… Deus…"
"Yeah, yeah, don't fall to the Dark Side." He shrugged, "You knew from the start that I was like this. I'm actually kinda surprised that you two were willing to let me stay with you at all. You had two days to kick me off the boat."
"I thought stopping would be more dangerous than letting you stay. I was right." Kikha chuckled, looked over at her blushing Padawan and sighed, "Besides… I thought you might be a good distraction for Daesha. And maybe my own hormones were clouding my judgment. But everything worked out in the end."
"Master…" Daesha looked back and forth between the Nautolan's grayish-blue face, then at the tomato-faced boy who had a mouth covered in Mynock juice.
"As soon as I'm done eating, I'll move the ship." Asmodeus looked over at the open cockpit door, where he could see out the window to the floating Droids outside.
"It's not 'the end' yet. So don't jinx it."
"Indeed." Kikha nodded calmly and continued drinking her broth slowly. The meal passed peacefully and relatively quietly. Even Asmodeus was abnormally silent.
He always felt like the other shoe was about to drop. He just didn't know what kind of shoe, where it was, how heavy it was or whether it was dropping up or down in such a confusing environment.
The ship was lifted pretty easily. At least it was much easier to move the vessel when it was surrounded by 'walls' that he could latch onto with the Force. Without the electromagnetic 'feet' of the landing gear turned on, the ship was effectively weightless, so it was even easier to move than a small boulder on Tatooine.
"Help me build up a barrier. We'll use these Droids and vehicles."
Daesha instructed her 'friend' as she also reached out to move those scattered Droids en masse. There were thousands of them in this one hanger, so it was no problem to transform the poor bastards into a wall. The armored vehicles were a little trickier, but not all of them were stuck to the deck. There were still quite a few that could be manipulated easily enough.
"Just in case the gravity suddenly turns back on, we shouldn't put anything too heavy on top of the ship."
"Roger-roger!"
"What?"
"Nevermind." Asmodeus snickered and shook his head, "You'll get it eventually."
"If you say so…" Daesha smiled wryly and continued assembling the make-shift camouflage/barrier. After that, she floated over to the 'entrance'. It was basically just a big open hole in the side of the ship. Not from damage though. A lot of these Hangar Bays were designed with special force fields that would allow ships to pass through, without losing atmosphere. She frowned and eventually decided against trying to block off the whole giant chunk of wall somehow. It was also silly to turn on the force field again. That would only draw attention and waste what little power the ship might have left.

"The ship is missing a lot of sections, but it does still have emergency power in a lot of places. Which is great, because it means we can access the ship's mainframe through a higher-ranking terminal and hopefully find the parts we need."
"Indeed. There is another option however." The Nautolan woman's face had returned to its healthy light-blue shade after only a few days of rest and recovery, "In such a large vessel, it would be natural to find at least a few undamaged ships capable of Hyperspace travel. The fact that emergency power still exists, means that the Mynock flock hasn't been here for too long."
"That's true. So we need to work fast. If we can really find a ship or two, then we can finally go home!"
"Fuck! Stop doing that!" Asmodeus woke up from deep meditation to glare at the two stupid Jedi who were kneeling and chattering in front of him.
"Sorry for bothering you-"
"You're not bothering me, Dae, I'm just afraid you're gonna get us all killed! No more flags! Don't talk about going home or getting married or everything working out in the end!"
"I trust in the Force, not superstition." Kikha smiled at the silly boy and her tendrils wiggled around in jubilation, "My Master used to tell me, 'What you say is what you get.' It's better to have a positive outlook on life. The Force is with us, as are 'we' with the Force."
Unfortunately, her Master died after shouting, "We're crashing!"
