Tristan had reluctantly explained everything that happened to Trevor and he could not hide his shock as he listened in stunned silence.
The Omega he had spent almost two years nurturing feelings for has been claimed by an Alpha King.
Tristan looked up at him and waited for him to say something, anything, at least to know he wasn't upset.
"I think it is safer for you to stay here for now, till we know what is going on." Trevor said after a short silence.
He smiled after he realised Tristan had been staring at him.
But he was breaking down inside, he didn't even stand a chance against his potential rival.
"Excuse me". He said softly and walked out.
He later returned while he was on the phone with someone, he appeared to have gotten over what Tristan said or he was probably not as affected as Tristan thought.
