Tristan stopped as soon as he opened the room's door. The mess inside already indicated that the baby wasn't inside.
The alpha was closed behind him, holding him by the hand and leading him out of the room.
It was obvious that the baby was missing but how that happened right under their nose was what was still baffling him.
"Where is my baby?" Tristan wailed.
Alpha Mitch had no response to his question because he was equally confused but he knew he had to console his mate somehow.
"He is fine, he is fine" Alpha Mitch repeated to him and gently pulled him away from the room.
"Alpha, we found something!." One of his men rushed inside to announce with an anxious look on his face.
Alpha Mitch immediately followed after him leaving Tristan behind but he didn't waste time to also follow.
Every other person in the mansion had gone to the spot to see what was wrong and they were shocked beyond words to see the lifeless body of the maid inside the store room.
