It was nighttime, the stars were shining overhead and the moon was shining softly on a figure.
He wore a hooded sweatshirt, covered with a mask that made only one eye visible. His body was small so he must be young
She looked at him analyzing him. She was on guard as he had decided to go out on his own without anyone knowing.
When the boy lifted the mask she recognized him.
"Hey, what's up, I look amazing, don't I?"
It was Richard.
He was already regretting dating a weird guy.
"I'm fine. If it looks nice on you."
"Great, so, shall we go?"
Richard offered his hand and Yukime grabbed it. And the two disappeared.
Two shadows were moving too fast through the trees. It was Yukime on Richard's back. He held his neck tightly so he wouldn't fall.
"If you keep going like that you're going to strangle me. Shall I slow down?"
"No. That's fine"
She has her own pride.
As they moved, she looked at Richard. Reevaluating him.
He's gentle and trustworthy.
If it weren't that he's a human. We wouldn't be just friends.
They had arrived at the top of a mountain.
Richard lowered it gently.
How is it?
It's beautiful.
There were all kinds of flowers over the place where they were standing. And in the distance you could see a big city.
We sat down?
Where?
In a moment Richard had already set up a red tablecloth and several small meals. "Here" he patted her side.
She sat down.
If she didn't know his intentions she would think the tablecloth was small because she chose any one of them.
Both sitting together, shoulder to shoulder they looked at the city ahead of them.
They shared the food. And shared it when it was for one.
"What do you think, do you want to go out more?"
"I don't know if I can go out anymore. The tribe is getting more chaotic."
"¿..?"
Richard frowned.
"Don't make that face. If I get the chance I'll let you know."
Yukime thought she should bother him once in a while.
Yukime stood up and with her skirt moved with her. The moonlight illuminated her face.
"You are very pretty. Your clothes look great on you, I think it was a good idea to give it to you"
Richard said it while staring at her.
"Thank you. You were late in saying that"
"Then next time I'll be more honest"
"Shall we go now?"
Both figures walked out of the forest, Yukime had had her head down the whole time.
You're such a fool, why do you say that?
Yukime thought looking at Richard's back with red cheeks.
The fox tribe's village was being attacked by the wild tribe.
"Yukime!"
I immediately looked for her, on the battlefield I saw several fox tribesmen being suppressed. But I couldn't stop myself.
Why didn't she use the signal I gave her? Is she a fool?
I had prepared a firework rocket beforehand. And I had given it to her but in the end she didn't use it.
Yukime, who was still in the tent, was already walking around biting her fingernail. He was worried about the situation of the tribe. Unexpectedly they were attacked, if the scouts had not noticed the village would have been razed to the ground.
In the tent a figure entered, it was his mother. Her three tails wagging from her anxiety, her mother called out to her.
Daughter, we have to go, the leaders of the tribe are preparing to take the people of the village to a safe place.
Yukime accompanied her mother, forgetting the precious things her friend had given her and any other valuables.
Both of them were already leaving the village. When Richard arrived at the store and did not find her.
Where are you?
Since he had entered the village he had not found a single soul. So he searched the area around the village and nothing.
They must have taken shelter. Although he had not seen her yet he knew that the Village chiefs would keep her safe within their means since she threatened them. For to walk freely among the fox tribe it is necessary to have strength and intelligence.
Otherwise he would not have daringly approached Yukime either. But if he could, he would want to see her again, you can never be sure if you don't see it.
When he looked back, the village was ablaze.
I couldn't leave it like that. The things he had given her with so much effort were thrown away like that. That weighed on her and left a bad taste in her mouth.
She reached for the sword at her waist, she had already approached a squad of the savage tribe.
"Who are you?"
"He's a human, get rid of him"
As they were about to attack, 5.7 heads flew.
"They didn't warm me up but at least they calmed me down a bit"
Richard looked at a remaining soldier, he was thinking of interrogating him to find out the ringleader behind the attack on the fox tribe. But in reaction to the untimely death of his comrades the soldier cut his throat with his sword.
I'll look for another one anyway.
He didn't mind, because in wars, to keep the secret, they had to do it to prove their loyalty. Death was preferable to betrayal.
After capturing and interrogating he gathered useless information.
The clan leader was responsible, but knowing the strategy is too blunt. That must not be the whole truth.
I look at the group I had tied up.
I don't need them anymore, become more prudent in your next life.
When he was thinking of leaving, it was already dawn. In the distance he could see several groups crowded together, with his improved eyesight he noticed that they were werewolves.
Good, help is on the way.
Richard had several ideas in mind but they had to be confirmed.
