Noelle's POV
Then something occurred to me ,why was the sky red?
It made the place look really scary
''Why is the atmosphere so gloomy and why is the sky red''
She looked at me
''It's a season here in the demon realm. We wear black and red to express our condolences to the Demon Queen''. she ended
''I thought you said Lucian was a misogynist. How did he marry? ''I said with a little jealousy in my head
The person who gets to marry him is sure lucky
Cause he's tooo handsome.
''How old is he anyway'' I asked
''Ask him that yourself ''she said politely
''Well ,the Demon Queen is still Lucian's deceased mother since Lucian isn't married. We shouldn't talk more about him .''she warned as she applied a light lotion on my pale skin
Lucian's POV
As I walked out of her room ,I kept on thinking
Why is she so afraid of me. Did I do anything wrong?
I...I just don't want her to be afraid of me. Why?
As I kept talking to myself, I saw Julian smiling to himself on a phone call
What's up with him? I wondered
He ended the call and looked up at me with slight tears in his eyes
''I'm going to be a father soon, Lucian!!''he said with excitement whiles hugging me in the process
I hugged him back. Hey, he's been my only friend helping me rule this big demon realm on my own
And besides ,he and his fated love ,Aulia have had difficulties in child birth so I was Kinda happy for him
''Julian, go and spend some time with her .After all she needs you more than I do, okay ''I said with a little smile tugged on my lips
He nodded. I haven't seen him so happy in my 600 years so far.
''I'll be back tomorrow '' and with that he started walking away
''Oh and Lord Takumi is here' 'he ended and disappeared from sight.
What the hell does he want from me now
I summoned Kyran, he was after Julian in position
''Let them prepare some food to the dining table .And less pepper too'' I added ,thinking about Noelle
I froze, why was I even thinking about Noelle anyway. I wondered
He left. Just then the leader of the 4 women came to me with worried written on her face
She bowed to me and started talking
''Master ,the girl you brought for us to take care of, Noelle has a very huge wound and sores on her feet so the shoes you chose for her and all the shoes cannot be worn'' she ended still with her head bowed
Wait, doesn't she have anti-magic .I used magic right so she could nullify with her magic and therefore she could heal her wound.
Was she stupid?
''I don't care ,She should wear it no matter what ''I ended emotionless
By this statement , my demon should have laughed hysterically just like he does but this time he was ...silent .Like ..he cared for her
I am so confused right now
She left. I just sat in my chair for a while.
After sometime, I went downstairs to the dining room .I saw Takumi
''What do you want? I asked with a cold voice
''Lucian, I want you to reconsider. Please I need your soldiers ''he said
I gazed at him as I sat at the dining chair. He found a seat and sat in it too .His subordinate filled the seat. The seat by my side was empty .It was reserved ,For Noelle.
