Chapter 333 - Don't Tell Me...

William and Finch felt their senses spin calmly, colors intertwining and warping for a fleeting split second, and then, just as abruptly, they felt solid ground beneath their feet. Their awareness snapped back into place in the very next heartbeat. Their black eyes fluttered open, slowly adjusting to the world around them.

What greeted their sight was a massive room draped in the most lavish opulence imaginable. A grand bed rested elegantly off to the side, its frame carved from dark wood and its sheets glowing faintly with a silky sheen. Two tall windows were fitted neatly into the wall, allowing gentle rays of light to spill across the polished floor.

Numerous paintings, each depicting different scenes, landscapes, and ancient histories, were hung with careful precision, further enhancing the room's already palpable grandeur.
