Chapter 3 – Uchiha Naori
Sato left home, but instead of going to his training spot as he had said, he headed elsewhere.
As he calmly walked through the streets of the Uchiha compound, he lightly touched his covered eye with a vacant look, thinking about a few things when suddenly he bumped into a little girl.
"Oops, sorry," Sato apologized as he grabbed the little girl to keep her from falling.
He looked at her for a moment, and after seeing that she was fine, he continued on his way.
"Tsk, idiot," a little boy said as he watched Sato embrace Mira before leaving.
"Takumi, be quiet. If he hears you, he might come and beat you up again. Have you already forgotten about last week?" another boy said, a little apprehensive, as he watched Sato walking away. Seeing him get farther, he couldn't help but sigh in relief before turning to the little girl, who was still standing there lost in thought.
"Hey, Mira, are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine, Kazu-nii," Mira replied as she kept looking in the direction where Sato had gone.
"Man, you're lucky. You bumped into Sato and he didn't even fight with you," Kazuki said, a bit surprised, with Takumi agreeing.
Mira was also surprised and even confused, but she quickly set the subject aside and joined her friends to play.
Sato continued on his way, unaware of the children's conversation about him. And even if he had known, maybe he wouldn't have thought much about it.
He knew he had a bad temper, with little self-control or consideration for others.
He wasn't always like that. It was only in recent months that this persona had started to emerge in him.
It was still a bit hard to say why this was happening, but Sato was inclined to believe it was mainly due to the premature awakening of his Sharingan, something he himself never understood how it happened.
I mean, one day he was walking with his parents, and out of nowhere someone stopped and pointed at his eyes.
For many, this was something incredible and worth celebrating. But for the Sato of today, it couldn't be worse. After all, there is a reason why the Uchiha are pointed out as lunatics and have their eyes regarded as demonic.
De acordo com suas memórias, after getting out of his wave of self-pity and disillusionment, Sato spent months reviewing old personal records of his grandfather, looking for ways to improve the clan.
In these writings, he often came across a fundamental problem that many, if not all, Uchiha had: the trauma required to awaken the Sharingan.
Sato had never gone through any trauma to awaken his Sharingan, so he began studying why that was. After much research, he finally came across something: Yin energy.
Unfortunately, his grandfather's records had no data on what this energy was, and although he believed that the clan's records could offer some answer, as an old cripple with no value, he would never be allowed to access such files.
However, this did not stop Sato from theorizing that part of the clan's problems were due to this strange Yin energy and that it was directly linked to the awakening of the Sharingan and the strange shift in mentality that those who awakened it underwent.
Even now, with his memories of the future, there were moments when he found himself thinking about using this knowledge to become the strongest and change his own future, rather than the clan's destiny.
Knowing this, he knew he needed someone to guide him, and at the moment, the best person was undoubtedly Naori.
Uchiha Naori was someone who awakened the Mangekyou, yet still maintained a clear mind. Besides, she really cared about the clan.
Naori was once one of the most powerful kunoichi of the clan, having awakened the Mangekyou, something rare even during the Sengoku period.
However, due to some internal problems within the clan, as well as the loss of one of her eyes, she ended up stepping away, deciding to live a calmer life out of everyone's sight.
Sato knew little about the events that led to Naori losing her left eye. All he knew was that sometime after Madara's departure, internal turbulence occurred within the clan.
It was during this turbulence that his grandfather, Uchiha Taro, died, and Uchiha Hiroto took his place as elder.
Sighing, Sato couldn't help but think that this was just a side effect of the Sharingan.
"I really need to figure out how to understand Yin energy. Before, I didn't have access to the records, but now it will be different."
After wandering through the streets of the compound for a while, Sato finally arrived at Naori's house. It was a small house, located in an area a bit removed from the others.
Sato stared at the door for a while but did nothing to announce his presence and just stood there, remembering his time with Naori.
Although they were master and student, that lasted only for a short period.
After school started, Sato quickly rose to first place. However, his temper often led him to confront other children, and he ended up humiliating many of them, often leaving them injured.
Because of that, the clan decided that letting someone like him interact with other children was a bad influence and would tarnish the clan's name, so he ended up being taken back and replaced by another talented boy, Uchiha Fugaku.
Of course, the clan didn't give up on him completely and quickly came to the conclusion that what Sato needed was a competent teacher to guide him properly. That's why Naori was chosen, since besides her great strength, she was also one of the Uchiha with the best temperament.
The elders wanted her to teach that to Sato.
Unfortunately, she wasn't very successful and after just over six months, Naori gave up on him.
Thinking about Naori's disappointed expression, Sato couldn't help but sigh a little. And just as he was about to knock on the door, it opened.
Sato remained silent as he watched Naori open the door.
Long purple hair, fair skin, the right eye was black while the left was completely white, clearly blind.
"Can I help you?" Naori asked quietly as she looked at little Sato standing in front of her.
"Sensei, we need to talk."
"Sensei?" Naori looked confused at the boy in front of her, wondering when she had gained a disciple.
"Sorry, but—"
Before Naori could say anything else, she saw the boy's only visible eye change.
First taking the form of a three-tomoe Sharingan and then immediately transforming into a new shape.
"Mangekyou!?"
Naori was startled and reflexively activated her own Mangekyou as she stared at Sato, unsure how to proceed.
