*~Cyrius's POV~*
I dived out of the room, my heart pounding so hard it drowned out every other sound. My feet slammed down the staircase, barely touching each step before I hit the floor below. "Alex! Somebody! Anybody!" I shouted, voice echoing off the walls. "Help!"
But there was no answer. No movement. The entire house was silent..eerily still, like every living thing had been sucked out of it.
"Oh, shit," I muttered, spinning around. "What's going to become of me now?"
And then she appeared.
A few feet away, naked, her breasts staring at me hungrily.
Her smirk was pure sin. "Why are you running, Cyrius?" she purred, her tone teasing and cold. "You can't run faster than Nature. Just come. Let's settle this like adults."
"Fuck you!" I barked, stumbling backward as she reached for my hand. I shoved her hard, my palms burning from the contact.
