I settled myself and calmed my breathe and adjusted my gown.
"Hazel, and the others are outside," he said quickly. "They didn't believe me when I said you were here. Come on—we need to go, now!"
He grabbed my hand and reached for the basket.
"What—Leon, wait!" I snapped, pulling back. "You can't just walk out of here! They'll be back any minute. We can't escape, do you even know where we are? This place is fueled by magic,"
"You're a witch you can break whatever spell they've cast here. Let's go, right now." He pulled my arm.
Then I heard the demon lord footstep approaching.
"Someone's here," I whispered. "He just went to get something."
"Then we'd better move before he comes back," Leon urged.
"No, you don't get it!" I whispered sharply. "Why are you always this stubborn, Leon? You wouldn't even be in this mess if you'd just listened to me before"
