*Leon's POV~*
"Oh, I've forgotten this your lion-pet is still alive," I said, while she immediately turned all her attention to him, rubbing his body while he was licking her.
Jealousy swelled in my chest as she started paying more attention to him.
I just ignored them as I started putting bricks up on bricks until I realized I had run out of materials.
Then I dusted my hands and turned to her.
"Hello. Hello there."
She turned to me. "What?"
"I'm going back to the market square. I want to go get some equipment. I've run out of some materials and I need more equipment."
"Oh, let's go then."
And then I stared at her… and then at her lion… and then back at her.
"You expect me to take a woman who is not so good at pretending to be a man—and some nasty lion-pet she has—to follow me?" I said.
She shrugged her shoulders. "What is wrong with this?"
"Please, just stay behind here. I'll be going. Not too far. Understand?"
She nodded while she sat.
