How to conquer slaver's bay in 30 days
//The day after Daenerys conquered Astapor
Following the previous plan, Khal Drogo had only left twenty thousand Dothraki warriors for transportation and the protection of their vast fields of their farmlands. He had brought around seventy nine thousand warriors with him. Apart from Drogon, Starfire, Darkfire, Viserion and Rhaegar, were flying along with the rest of the Khalasar. All of these Dragons have grown enough to fly on their own. Daenerys had trained them from a very young age to not cause unnecessary trouble. While these four dragons were smaller compared to Drogon in terms of size, they were definitely more obedient than Drogon, who only listened to Daenerys. They were only a day behind Daenerys' group. Daenerys didn't want to bring Goku with him since there might be danger. Even though she was more than capable of protecting her son, she didn't want to take any chances. That's why leaving Goku with Drogo, Daenerys had gone ahead. But it also helped them in avoiding the look outs of Mareen in the narrow pass of the Black mountain. With Daenerys' group having already taken care of them, the entire Khalasar passed the mountain range without the knowledge of Mareen.
By dawn, the eighty thousand Dothraki warriors stood outside the walls of Mareen. The City was simply not big enough to accommodate all the Dothraki warriors. Only Drogo along with Daenerys' hand maids and their blood riders entered the city.
The moment Daenerys saw her son, she fed her first. Her big boy slept soundly after getting a satisfied stomach. So again, leaving her to her trusted hand maid, Daenerys started with the most important task.
She didn't hesitate to execute any good master that expressed their stance against her anti-slavery policy. Before she conquered all the three cities of the slaver's bay, she didn't want any problem to deal with. That's why she executed the most rebellious one from the very beginning. The children were released. But Daenerys ordered them to stay under watch and the care of her soldiers. She specifically ordered her soldiers to not mistreat the children. But she also ordered them to keep the children under house arrest until she releases them.
Finally after dealing with the slavers, she ordered all of her advisors, and the chosen people from the Astapor to join the meeting.
"Let's start with the reports Missandei, give me the detailed report of all the resources the city has right now. And also tell me about the current situation of the city including the number of buildings and about the other infrastructures." Daenerys ordered Missandei.
"Starting with the gold coins, we have found around 20 million Braavosi gold coins in total. But there were many vaults and underground store rooms we have yet to unlock. Show the count may go higher.
Apart from the gold coins we have also confiscated many highly valuable luxury items and jewelleries. Among them we have found around 30 volanti gold jewelleries, 55 volanti silver jewellery along with many other crystal jewelleries. (1 volanti≈1 pound, I don't know the exact matric system of the game of thrones world, so forgive me for my ignorance) There were also many expensive clothes, stones and artifacts, including A Valyrian sword.
Currently the population of the city including the surviving slave masters is roughly around 22,000. The food storage is full. According to our estimation, even if we do not import any food for the next three months we can easily feed every single person in the City and at least 10,000 more people.
In this city, there are 15 palaces of the good masters. Apart from them there are 95 large hall-like structures for the slaves." Missandei told everyone.
"Alright then, I have prepared some temporary plans for the city including a few mandatory rules and regulations for the city. And I believe with the resources this city already has, my plan will fit perfectly." Daenerys spoke before she handed over a large piece of paper to Missandei. He was one of the few literate slaves along with being the only person in Astapor who could speak more than 27 languages from all over Essos and Westeros.
Then she looked at the 12 people selected by the people of the Astapor.
"From now on you guys will form a temporary council for the next month with Missandei being your leader. Depending on your performance in this month, you will keep your position or lose it after the evaluation. I want my plans to be fulfilled perfectly. The temporary rules I have created are also non negotiable. I have promised myself that I will one day get rid of slavery from the entire Essos. This is just my first step towards my grand ambition.
I hope that you people will not betray my trust." Daenerys spoke in the mixed Valyrian that everyone could understand.
After everyone nodded obediently she discussed a few more things about her plan regarding Astapor with the temporary council members before dismissing all of them except for Missandei.
With most of the people gone from the meeting room, Daenerys stood up and walked towards the window. After taking a look at the city she turned around to look at her loyal subordinates.
"I know that all of you have questions regarding my future plan. Like I declared about my ambition, I want to completely get rid of slavery. But that is a long term goal.
For now I want to destroy the symbol of slavery in Essos and build a new Empire from the ashes. I want to conquer Slaver's Bay in 30 days.
