Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Using the Emperor's Haki to shake the world

Three pirate ships, each flying a blackened skull flag, docked at the shoreline with a thunderous roar. Without hesitation, they opened fire!, cannonballs arcing through the sky and slamming into the port, shaking the ground.

"Captain! We're gonna hit the jackpot this time!" shouted a grinning pirate, gripping a blood-stained knife. "This port's crawling with merchant ships and zero defenses!"

"Kahahahaha!" the pirate captain cackled from the helm, his large saber glinting in the sun. "Listen up, you scum! Pillage everything! The town's ripe for the taking!"

"Kill! Loot! The women and the treasure are mine!" howled another pirate as the crew leapt onto the land.

They surged forward like a tide of chaos with greedy eyes, savage grins, boots hitting cobblestones with thunderous rhythm.

The crowd near the port erupted in panic.

"Pirates! Run for your lives!"

"Don't push me, let me move!"

Some fled into the town. While others, in desperation, dove straight into the sea. Screams filled the air as civilians scrambled for safety. Explosions boomed overhead. Shrapnel and smoke consumed the streets.

"Waaaah!""Help!""Someone save my child!"

A child stood frozen, wide-eyed, while homes behind him were set ablaze. A man , just a dockworker, tried to intervene and was immediately struck down by a pirate's blade.

That single act of violence shattered the last ounce of order.

Panic broke loose. Screaming civilians shoved and trampled one another in a blind rush to escape. Bodies fell. More people died under the blade, by the pirate hands.

"Hahaha! Look at them run!" the first mate shouted, watching with glee. "We're clearing this place without lifting a finger!"

Bang!

A sharp slap cut through the noise.

"Idiot. Don't speak over me," snarled the captain.

He stepped forward, three meters tall, muscles bulging beneath his tattered coat. His saber rested on his shoulder as he climbed atop a pile of crates, surveying the frightened crowd.

"I'm Captain Alex Jesse of the Bear Pirates!" he roared. "I have a Bounty of 43 million belly! Anyone who wants to live, drop your treasures and beg!"

The entire port fell silent under his booming voice.

Fear was written across every peoples face.

Kairo had just arrived at the edge of the scene. From the rooftops, he looked down at the chaos, expression unreadable.

"Forty-three million belly…" he murmured.

By modern standards, that might not seem impressive. But forty years ago, it was a massive bounty. Equivalent to hundreds of millions today. A pirate of this caliber would be a true threat.

And Kairo wasn't sure yet how far his strength measured.

Alex Jesse, oblivious, raised his arm.

"Take everything! Burn the rest! And anyone who fights back—cut them down!"

"Yarrhh!" the crew roared.

Over a hundred pirates surged toward the town.

But then—

"I'd like to see you try."

A sharp voice rang from above.

Kairo leapt from the rooftop. His landing cracked the stone beneath him. Before the lead pirate could react, boom! ~ boom!.

Two quick punches dropped him and his partner, instantly, blood flying from their mouths.

"Huh?!" Alex Jesse blinked in disbelief.

"Kahahaha! A brat?" he sneered. "Go back to suckin' milk, kid!"

The crew burst into laughter.

But Kaido didn't smile.

In an instant, he vanished while using Soru, a footwork technique that multiplies his speed tenfold, reappearing instantaneously behind two more pirates before they could react.

Bang! Bang! Both hit the ground before they could even scream.

Now Alex Jesse's grin faltered.

His brow twitched.

"Kill him!" he bellowed, raising his massive blade and pointing it at Kairo. "Kill that brat now!"

Dozens of pirates charged forward with sabers, clubs, and flintlocks, surrounding Kairo from all sides.

And still, Kairo didn't flinch.

He exhaled slowly.

Then the ground shook again.

Boom!Boom!Boom!

The bullet was fired at Kairo in a flash.

But it was far too predictable. With a sharp, domineering glare, using his Observation Haki, He flared and tilted his head while twisting his body. One by one, the bullets missed their mark.

"Huh?"

Alex Jessie's brow furrowed instantly. A bad feeling gnawed at him, this isn't an ordinary kid.

Even surrounded by dozens of pirates, Kairo didn't flinch. He charged straight into the crowd, blade in hand, striking with wild precision.

In an instant, severed limbs and blades flew through the air. Screams echoed all around.

Kairo paid them no mind.

He moved like a storm, his focus locked onto the fight. And within that chaos, he felt it, it was something he hadn't tasted in a long time.

The thrill of combat.

Each kill fed the fire inside him. The weight he'd carried, the rage, the pressure, the silence, it all poured out through his sword.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!"

His eyes burned red. His blade was soaked in blood.

The pirates faltered, paralyzed by Kairo's overwhelming presence. None dared step forward.

But their fear didn't slow him down.

He crashed into them like a beast unchained, cutting through more than a hundred pirates with terrifying ease. They couldn't even touch him.

"Damn it!"

Alex Jessie's face twisted in rage. Years of gathering strength, building his crew—wasted on this godforsaken island.

Back at the port, the remaining pirates stared in disbelief. Some dropped their weapons. They could barely believe what they were seeing.

Was this really Kairo?

He didn't just fight. He dominated the battlefield.

"AAAHHHHHHHH!"

Kairo threw back his head and let out a raw, guttural roar.

A wave of power exploded from his body—laced with crackling red lightning. The aura spread in every direction.

Pirates and civilians alike dropped where they stood, unconscious before they hit the ground.

Alex Jessie's eyes widened in horror.

"Conqueror's Haki?! This kid… he has that power?!"

As a pirate with years on the Grand Line, he knew what that meant—and it chilled him to the bone.

But Kairo wasn't done.

Even the fallen weren't spared. His blade kept swinging, merciless and unrelenting.

Alex Jessie trembled.

Nearby, Ivan stumbled into view, too late to change anything. As the crushing pressure hits him, he swayed and nearly collapsed.

"W-What's going on…?"

He grabbed onto a wooden pillar, forcing himself to look at the battlefield.

And what he saw, he would never forget.

Captain Alex Jessie stood alone, surrounded by the broken bodies of his crew.

And across from him stood just one man.

A towering figure, nearly three meters tall.

Kairo.

With a final swing, the last pirate's body dropped.

Then Kairo raised his head again and roared, not with words, not with laughter, but with raw, unfiltered fury.

"RRRAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Another wave of red lightning burst outward, crackling through the air.

Ivan collapsed, unconscious.

And Alex Jessie dropped to a crouch, using his sword to brace against the overwhelming pressure of Kairo's will.
