"Wife? Sure, why not? I can take you as my wife if you release Aika and agree to become part of my harem," Yusuke paused at Raynare's bold declaration before replying calmly.
His words caused everyone present to pause. Murayama's eyes narrowed as she examined Raynare with a scrutinizing gaze. In her mind, this woman, despite her beauty, was far too showy and ostentatious, and she would have to be disciplined before she could be considered qualified to become Yusuke's woman.
After attaining enlightenment and becoming a Goudere, just like Tsubaki, she felt that it was only right that all beautiful and outstanding women should serve him and help him take over the whole world.
Though Yusuke had never once said he wanted to take over anything, he would be perfectly satisfied with a big house, a few beauties who did not try to lock him up, and enough money to spend freely.
On the other hand, Kalawarna suddenly flinched, her eyes growing increasingly dark. Did Yusuke just say he wanted to take that exhibitionist as his wife? Why? Why? Why would he even entertain the idea of making that bitch his woman? She had clearly come before that slut Raynare! Why not her? Why?!!!
Pain, anger, regret, and hatred surged through Kalawarna's mind and soul. Her hair stirred in the air as she struggled to hold herself back from exploding on the spot and attacking Raynare. 'Bear with it, bear with it. Soon... soon Yusuke will become mine. Then I can slowly kill that bitch Raynare and the other sluts surrounding him.'
'I can take my time opening Yusuke's eyes and show him that only I am the one who truly loves him!'
"Really!?" Raynare's eyes lit up with overwhelming happiness. She had never imagined that a single word from someone could make her feel so elated. Yet the moment she heard the second half of Yusuke's words, her excitement collapsed. "A harem? You want me to share you with others?"
"Impossible!" Her wings burst open, thrashing in the air as if echoing her fury, scattering black feathers all around. "You can only be mine, only mine!"
'Another dumb bitch.' Murayama rolled her eyes at Raynare's little performance. She could clearly see her past self in this woman. She, too, had once thoughtlessly and stupidly shouted the same words, trying to monopolize Yusuke and treating him like an object. But now she had learned the hard way just how foolish her actions had been.
She also knew there was nothing that irked Yusuke more than the phrase, 'You are mine.'
"Yu-kun, you are such a disobedient boy. But do not worry, after tonight, I will slowly teach you to be a good boy." Raynare took a deep breath to calm herself, then flicked her hair with her hand before commanding, "Take them both down."
She and Kalawarna knew it would be next to impossible for this human trash to defeat Yusuke with sheer numbers, but that was never the goal in the first place.
"Yes, Raynare-sama!" More than twenty black-robed men shouted in unison. The one with a sword rushed toward them, while the others carrying staffs retreated to the back and began chanting.
Compared to the five cannon fodder from earlier, this group seemed far more powerful and much better organized.
"Master, let me!" Murayama dashed forward, her body moving like a shadow. She burst between the sword-wielding men. She was not only strong, but also a skilled swordswoman, her footwork precise and her stance solid. The others, however, were trained swordsmen, older than her and seasoned with real-life combat experience.
Despite this, Murayama held the advantage with her enhanced strength and superior weapon.
Yusuke also twirled his new toy before rushing toward the group. Murayama might be able to handle five or six of them, but she would be in serious trouble if she had to face them all at once, and that does not even include the mages waiting at the back.
Bang!
His body blurred, and he appeared in front of one of the men, raising his sword to strike. However, just as he moved, a bright golden spear of light suddenly shot toward him. Yusuke stopped his motion and twisted his body back ninety degrees. The spear of light flashed past him and slammed into the ground behind him.
Bang! Clang
Before he could correct his posture, another spear of light shot at him, this time red. He raised his sword and sliced it down, then straightened his back.
"You two sure have good teamwork, heh." Yusuke glanced at Raynare and Kalawarna and snickered. As an expert in yanderes, he knew both women hated each other's guts, yet despite that, they coordinated remarkably well. The timing of their attack was almost perfect. If it had been the previous Yusuke, he surely would have been hit.
"Die!" The man who had been about to be cut down by Yusuke suddenly roared and stabbed at him with his sword. Yusuke, however, simply sidestepped and casually sliced the man's neck cleanly.
Thud!
The man's body, carried by momentum, continued moving forward for a short distance before collapsing headfirst to the ground. His head rolled across the floor.
In just a few days, Yusuke had transformed from a normal civilian who had never taken a single life into a killer who barely felt anything, even after beheading someone. Yet when he looked at Murayama, slashing, stabbing, and killing with a wide smile as if she were enjoying herself, he reassured himself that he was not sick in the head.
Suddenly, four spears of light shot toward him from different directions, sealing off all paths of retreat. The two women, despite hating each other, coordinated perfectly. Unfortunately for them, Yusuke's speed was 256 times faster than a peak-normal human. He was literally faster than the speed of sound, moving at over eight Mach; he was literally faster than a rocket.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Yusuke's body moved so fast it left a trail of afterimages. When the spears landed, they struck nothing but empty floor. He appeared behind another black-robed man and severed his head, then, without pausing, emerged behind another and sliced him in two.
Right after, multiple light bullets, fireballs, and ice cones suddenly shot at him from the group of mages. Yusuke did not pay them any heed. He moved so fast that their attacks seemed like crawling snails. Every strike failed to touch even his shadow, and some of the attacks that missed him struck their own allies instead.
"Something isn't right! Yu-kun wasn't this fast and strong last time. Otherwise, he would have needed to run away that night. How did he suddenly become this powerful?!" Raynare stared at the scene, watching Yusuke literally butcher her minions as easily as if they were pigs. Her eyes widened, and her face went pale.
She could not comprehend how Yusuke had grown so strong in just a few days. She, on the other hand, had spent decades training and working hard, yet her holy power remained stuck at the level of a mid-ranked fallen angel.
"As expected of my Yusuke. He truly is perfect. Only someone as exceptional as him can be worthy of my unwavering love!" Kalawarna shuddered with excitement and happiness. One of her hands wandered to fondle her breast while the other slid down to her skirt. She became unbearably aroused just watching Yusuke move with such elegance and dash. In her eyes, he looked incredibly handsome as he cut down his enemies like vegetables.
"Snap out of it, horny bitch! If things continue like this, the plan will fail!" Raynare slapped her across the cheek as she roared. She, too, felt that Yusuke was incredibly hot in that moment, evident from the love juice dripping down her bare thighs and the nipples visible through her leather bikini.
"What are you panicking for?" Kalawarna pushed Raynare's hand away in disgust, then strode to Aika and lifted her by the neck. "Didn't we get this girl for exactly this reason?"
Her finger traced along Aika's cheek before gripping her face firmly, twisting it so that Aika winced. "As long as we have this slut in our hands, Yusuke won't be able to do anything."
"Agh..." Aika's brows furrowed in discomfort despite being asleep, and she let out a soft groan.
"Are you sure he won't abandon her?" Raynare stared at Aika, asking suspiciously.
"I can guarantee that. Yusuke is very doting on this stupid girl. As long as she is with us, Yusuke would do anything to save her," Kalawarna said calmly, though malice and jealousy laced her voice as she glared at Aika. What had this girl done to deserve Yusuke's affection and protection!?
Pa!
"In that case, wake her up," Raynare said, a malicious smile spreading across her face. She raised her palm and slapped Aika.
Pa!
"Ah!" The sudden sharp pain woke the poor girl from her sleep with a sharp cry. She opened her eyes in confusion, but before she could understand what was happening, another slap landed on her other cheek, this time from Kalawarna.
Thud!
She threw Aika to the ground, then kicked her mercilessly in the stomach. "Masochistic slut, you're finally awake?"
"Ahhh!" Aika rolled on the ground, letting out a loud cry. She curled up, clutching her stomach, and with teary eyes asked, "Kalawarna-sensei?! Where is this? Why are you doing this to me?!" She was still completely confused. Yesterday, she had been crying in her mother's arms when suddenly two women barged into her house, hurt her mother, and kidnapped her.
However, Kalawarna did not answer. Instead, she bent down and grabbed Aika by the neck, holding her tightly so the poor girl struggled to breathe. Kalawarna then turned to Yusuke, a wide, cruel grin spreading across her face. "Darling Yusuke, why don't you stop? You wouldn't want to see your beloved masochistic slut die, right?"
