'Fuck, I did it! Hahahaha!' Yusuke almost burst into loud laughter after seeing the notification. Even the pain running through his body eased to a large degree. He never thought Raynare would be this 'cooperative' in his act.
[Congratulations, you have unlocked a new achievement!] The system's voice echoed. [Would you like to view it?]
'Not now,' Yusuke replied. He was curious about this new achievement, but this was not the moment to explore it.
"Master, please stop! She is tricking you. If you break your limbs, there will be no one left to stop her, and she will kill Aika!" Murayama clutched Yusuke's hand and spoke frantically, trying to reason with him.
Anyone with a functioning brain could see through Raynare's plan.
"I know, but I need to take this risk for her. I would never forgive myself if Aika were to be hurt any more." Yusuke cupped Murayama's face and wiped away her tears with his uninjured hand. He leaned forward and whispered, "Shh, do not show any suspicious expression. Listen to me, I have a plan."
"..." Murayama almost nodded instinctively but forced herself to remain still. She continued holding on to Yusuke, doing her best to keep her face from betraying anything.
"I am going to throw you toward Aika next, and you will use your Sacred Gear to push Kalawarna away from her," Yusuke whispered his plan. In truth, now that he had succeeded in raising Aika's submission to 91, there was no longer a need to continue the act. He could have saved her immediately with his absurd speed, but that would contradict what he had been doing only moments ago.
He had just been at the mercy of Raynare, so how the heck did he suddenly become so strong? If he was really that strong, why had he not saved Aika earlier? That was what they would think.
Submission 91 (devoted) was pretty high, but Yusuke did not forget the system's warning that submission could fall if the target's emotions changed. If Aika felt he had only been playing with her, it might affect her.
Then again, that might not happen. Who could really say what went on inside a masochist's head?
"..." Murayama did not reply, but the word 'ok' formed faintly on his palm.
"Count to three in your mind, then I will throw you," Yusuke whispered again as he gripped her shoulders.
Both of them counted together in silence.
"One."
"Two."
"Three."
Swoosh!
Yusuke spun around and hurled Murayama with his fastest speed. She shot through the air like a bullet toward Kalawarna, and as she flew, her Sacred Gear appeared in her hand.
"What!?" Both Raynare and Kalawarna exclaimed in shock and astonishment. Raynare reacted first and roared at Kalawarna, "Be careful!" She rushed toward Aika to pull her away, but unfortunately for them, she was a step too late.
Bang!
Murayama's leg smashed straight into Kalawarna's face, sending her flying into the church wall.
"Kink freak, you are safe now!" Murayama pulled Aika behind her and blocked Raynare's hand.
"Give her back to me, you lowly human!" Raynare roared furiously, gripping a spear of light in her hand and hurling it at Murayama. "Give her back to—"
"Who are you calling lowly, stupid crow?" Just then, Yusuke's cold voice cut through. Raynare's eyes nearly bulged from their sockets as a terrible pain shot through her stomach. Yusuke had appeared out of nowhere, his fist already driving into her belly.
Bang!
The force of the punch sent the fallen angel flying like a broken doll, crashing against the wall.
"Pervy girl, are you okay?" Yusuke asked Aika with a smile.
"Yu-sama! Yu-sama!! Yu-sama!!!" Aika shouted excitedly, running to him. She dove into his arms like an anime character, wrapping her arms around his waist and sobbing uncontrollably. She was just a normal girl… well, a normal masochistic girl. What had happened today was something she never imagined she would experience in her life.
"It's okay now. I told you I would never allow any harm to befall you," Yusuke said, gently caressing her head. He shot Murayama a glance, and she immediately understood.
She turned to the three remaining black-robed men and lunged at them. In a short while, three corpses fell to the ground.
"I am alright now, Yu-sama," Aika said with a smile after crying for a while. But suddenly her eyes widened and she exclaimed, "Yu-sama, your hand!"
"It's no big deal," Yusuke said with a smile. He then activated his Healing Touch, mending his broken arms and the injuries from the earlier light spear attacks.
"Whoa! Yu-sama is so cool! You are like Superman! No, wait, Superman doesn't have healing magic. You are Superman Pro Max!" Aika's eyes sparkled with admiration and reverence, as if she were seeing a god. Then she giggled. "Yu-sama, how about you try your healing magic on me?"
"We can try. I have a few plays in mind for next time~!" As a masochist, of course, she was already dreaming of a few extreme SM scenarios with her master.
Yusuke, Murayama, "..."
Is this how a girl who had just been kidnapped should react?
"Kink freak!" Murayama whispered in disdain.
"Don't look at me like that! Only Yu-sama is allowed to," Aika snapped, roaring angrily. "You broken faucet!"
"Both of you stop. Murayama, take Aika back to her house. I'll deal with these two," Yusuke quickly intervened, giving the order to Murayama. If it had been before, he would never have entrusted her to take Aika alone, but right now, Murayama was literally the last person who could betray him, so he had no problem trusting her.
"Yes, Master!" Murayama agreed readily. She pulled the reluctant Aika and ran toward the door. Before leaving, she called back, "I'll wait for you at your place. Don't be late, Master!"
"...Okay," Yusuke said, glancing sideways before answering.
...
"This is the end, Rias. You have lost." Sona hovered in the air alongside Tsubaki, both staring down at Rias and Akeno, who knelt on the ground.
A large crater had formed where they had stood, as if a massive explosion had struck the area. Rias's body was covered in bruises and wounds, and this time she was entirely naked; her clothes had been destroyed by the earlier attacks. The same was true for Akeno. Both women glared at Sona with raw anger, unwilling to accept their defeat.
They clearly held the advantage, but because Sona had suddenly manifested that magic formation earlier, they lost terribly. She had been playing them from the start. Her attacks before had been nothing but decoys. In fact, the real purpose of the water bullets she had used was to create the magic formation and summon the giant water dragon that ultimately defeated them.
If they had been more vigilant, they would have seen through her plan and ruined it.
It should have been them now, triumphantly staring down their opponents!
"Sona..." Rias gritted her teeth. She was unwilling, very unwilling, but there was nothing she could do!
"Rias, leave now. Please refrain from bothering Yusuke again in the future. It is because of your actions that tonight's accident happened," Sona said coldly. She already knew what Rias had done.
If Rias had not tampered with Aika and Murayama's memories, Murayama might not have awakened her Sacred Gear and turned on Yusuke; Aika perhaps would not have gone to her house, but instead to Yusuke's, avoiding the fallen angels' kidnapping altogether.
"I lost this time, but do not think you will win next time!" Rias struggled to stand as she declared. "Akeno, let's go!"
Akeno rose silently and followed Rias's footsteps. She cast one reluctant glance at the magic formation, seeing Yusuke's figure one last time before leaving.
All of Rias's plans had failed spectacularly. Not only had Aika and Murayama recovered their memories, but they now hated her with a burning passion, and because of this, Yusuke would hate her as well.
Her plan to use the fallen angels to force Yusuke into becoming part of her peerage had failed even more miserably. She had been beaten by Sona until all her clothes were torn apart, and to make matters worse, Yusuke had dealt with the fallen angels easily
"Let's go back," Sona said, giving the magic formation showing Yusuke's image one last glance before speaking.
Sona did not attempt to kill Rias. Despite their falling out, she still wanted to treat her like a friend. She had not reached the level of coldly massacring other girls like Raynare and Kalawarna. At her core, she was inherently a good girl. Another factor was that Rias was the sister of Sirzechs Lucifer, a Maou.
"You are not going to meet him?" Tsubaki asked.
"No, I do not want our first meeting to be like this," Sona said, shaking her head. She waved her hand, and a water bullet struck the formation, breaking it into tiny red fragments.
She had always believed that first impressions were extremely important.
The reason Sona and Tsubaki had come to this place to stop Rias and Akeno was not to recruit Yusuke into her peerage. They did not need to do that. Tsubaki was already Yusuke's woman, and through her, Sona would have a much easier time getting to know him.
They mainly wanted to stop Rias and Akeno from disturbing Yusuke and to prevent any attempts to plot against or sabotage him.
"If you say so," Tsubaki said with a smile. She used her magic to put new uniforms on herself and Sona before both of them left.
...
"Agh! My legs!" Raynare's body slid down from the wall she had been impaled against, crying out in pain. The impact from earlier had not only injured her back but also broken her legs.
"Damn it!" She crawled on the ground, struggling to stand. Just then, she noticed a pair of legs ahead of her. Lifting her hair, she saw Yusuke staring down at her with a sinister smile. "Your legs hurt? Don't worry, I have many ways to make them feel even more painful."
"Yu-kun?!" Raynare muttered in a daze. Soon, her expression twisted into horror.
"No! Stop!"
"We can talk this through!"
"Aghhhh!"
