Damian is stunned as he saw this. Reading in novels, comics is one thing. Now seeing them with his own eyes made him a little nervous. The monsters started looking for their prey immediately upon spawning. No wasting time or anything, just outright hunting. Goblins are the initial monsters and Damian can see zombies too along with some insect like creatures. But their size is almost as big as a child.
Damian first opened his innate skill - Astral Alchemy and saw it's introduction.

' that's awesome ', Damian thought. Such a skill is something he wants exactly. A skill with endless potential.
Damian can't wait to use this. Just then suddenly he saw weapons appearing in some people's hands. He blinked and searched the system, there he saw a weapon voucher sitting in the inventory. He used it and got the sword. It's a random weapon voucher they didn't get to choose the weapons. The system gives it to them.
Damian looked at the sword in his hand. It's shabby but still a functional weapon. Damian started to swing it around. It's okay.
As Damian is testing his weapon suddenly someone in the class started grouping.
He is confused while a classmate of him, his name is Kevin Ashwood maybe. The one who seeks attention too much. He is the class leader and even competed for the student council president in their school and ultimately lost.
He is now looking extremely smug and saying," I have the innate skill - Lightning Blade. It can increase my agility and allows me to coat my sword with lightning. I can lead the team well. You can rely on me to protect you from the monsters ".
Another one stood beside him and said," and I have the skill - Enhancement. With it, i can raise my stats by 30% at a time. I'll be a good tank with my sword and enhancement skill ".
This one is Anthony Heart. He is the lackey of Kevin. Simply a lap dog following Kevin around. but he didn't expect this guy to follow Kevin even in this situation like a lackey. Ignoring them, Damian picked up his sword and noticed some rust on it. He wanted to try his skill. He touched the blade and said," extract ", focusing on the rust and the somewhat blunt edges.
In his other hand gradually some rust and metal dust formed. His blade gleamed with sharpness and looked brand new. Damian nodded and got to hunting. He carefully looked around the corridor and moved towards another direction. As Damian entered the corridor he is attracted by goblins running towards him. The classroom door instantly closed shut by one of his classmates.
Damian threw the metal dust and rust in his hand at them. A small cloud of dust obstructed their vision and Damian stabbed the sword immediately into one of the goblins. He then punched another that tried to stab his eye with a dagger and kicked away another that covered it's face and tried to ambush him. Damian removed the sword from the goblin as a notification appeared in front of him.

Damian looked at the two goblins and smiled. He slashed at the incoming goblin severing it's neck and side stepped to avoid the stab from the goblin. He then hit the head of the goblin with his sword hilt. As the goblin fell to the floor with a bloody mouth, Damian killed immediately by stabbing it's head.

Damian then dismembered the goblins and found a mana stone in their corpse. He dug it out and also used extraction on the corpse to get the soul of the goblin as well as it's blood essence. He stored away all the useful stuff as the notification appeared.

Damian saw the soul storage. Three fragments of of a stone is existing in them. The strange thing is the moving humanoid figure in them. Damian wanted to examine it more but goblins arrived and saw the dismembered corpses there. They looked furious and charged at Damian.
Damian used the soul fragments. He felt a slight warmth in his body and it disappeared immediately. Damian slashed with sword, the goblin had it's throat ripped and blood flow out of it. Looking at the 5 goblins behind it, Damian ran on the corridor and suddenly turned around before slahing again killing another goblin.
He dodged the dagger of the incoming goblin and stabbed the goblin behind it. He kicked the incoming goblin that swung it's club and stabbed the goblin that tried to stab his eye. Damian then dodged the club from another goblin before using the incoming goblin as a cover.
It died while Damian kicked the goblin holding the mace and stabbed it's head killing it. Ignoring the notifications, he used the Astral Alchemy on the corpses then collected the soul fragments. He used them to raise his stats. He also got a couple of complete souls too.
These two gave him stat increase by 3 points each and also two skills. One is the dagger art and the other is power strike. Damian collected the useful materials and left from there immediately. Picking up his bag, he left from there and headed to the cafeteria which is flooded with monsters.
There are even orcs there. This is only tutorial, the test is for them to survive in the school for two days. Damian need food and supplies in order to survive afterall. He clenched his fist and looked at the sword in his hand, this is weak and the materials aren't enough to upgrade this sword. It's rank is only F+. A good standard beginner equipment.
