Chapter 16 - chapter 15 The Teacher's Secret

Lying on the sofa, with Sunlight in his arms, Maharaja Hirday was still trembling with the emotion of crying. His eyes were tearful, but his face held peace. Sunlight also clung to his arms, as if she would never leave this refuge.

Hirday removed one hand from Sunlight's back.

Very carefully, with deep affection, he gently pushed back Sunlight's freed golden hair. His fingers stroked the bright, golden locks, which seemed to be a gentle symbol of royal power.

He used his hand to tidy Sunlight's hair. At this moment, they held no weapons, no crowns—only human emotions and deep care for one another.

"Sleep, my Queen," Hirday whispered. "You haven't slept for many nights. My game is over, but your reign has just begun."

Sunlight did not shake her head. She nestled even closer into Hirday's chest.

The Queen on the throne of the Nexus Empire was now Sunlight—free, powerful, and deeply in love. And beside her lay Maharaja Hirday—victorious in love, but disempowered.

Maharaja Hirday was still lying on the sofa, holding Sunlight in his arms. His hand rested on Sunlight's golden hair. Hirday's confession and silent tears had broken all the walls within Sunlight.

As Sunlight closed her eyes in comfort in the warmth of Hirday's chest, a strong memory suddenly came to her mind.

Those days many years ago! In the ancient knowledge hall of the Nexus dynasty, where she was being trained as a Queen. The strict, intelligent, and mysterious young teacher... whose knowledge and authority fascinated her. That teacher who had taught her the deepest truth of Nexus Law.

Sunlight was now startled. She opened her eyes and stared fixedly at Hirday. She knew...

She whispered, but the sound seemed to reach Hirday's ears too:

"Now I know... You were my teacher."

Sunlight realized that the strict, mysterious teacher had later become the Maharaja and forcefully bound her. This knowledge shook her anew. Why did she feel a strange weakness for him despite years of hatred and rebellion? Because this man was her first teacher, the first to shed light on her life's path.

"You are the one," Sunlight said, "who taught me the Nexus Law: 'If the binder does not voluntarily reject it, the bond is impossible to sever.' You taught me a lie, because you knew I would eventually rebel."

Hirday smiled softly, keeping his eyes closed. "I did not teach you a lie, my Queen. I taught you half-truth. I knew that a student as sharp as you would one day discover the last part of that law—just as you did."

Sunlight now understood completely. This whole game was Hirday's. He didn't just want to rule her; he wanted to shape his best student into the most powerful ruler of the Nexus. And love was the final lesson of that training.

Now he was no longer just her husband, or her captor. He was her teacher, her lover, and her disempowered subject.

Sunlight sighed. She held Hirday even tighter.

"Alright, Teacher," Sunlight said calmly. "I have learned the lesson. From now on, I will give you the freedom you did not give me. You are now my weak companion, and I am your Queen."

The two remained lying there, one a ruler and one weak, but their complex love overshadowed all the politics of the empire.

The Royal Wedding

Time passes quickly. Three years have gone by since the cruelty, hatred, and game of power. Stability now reigns in the Nexus Empire. Queen Sunlight has reorganized the empire with her knowledge, kindness, and firmness. Maharaja Hirday, though officially disempowered, stands beside her as the Queen's chief advisor and respected ruler. Their relationship is no longer one of bondage, but of deep, trusting love.

Today is the day. Today, the palace is adorned with an unprecedented spectacle. Today is the wedding of Sunlight and Hirday.

The Wedding Scene:

The royal courtyard is draped in bright golden and blue fabrics. According to the oldest tradition of the Nexus Empire, this wedding is not just a union of love, but a merging of the power of two rulers.

Queen Sunlight's Appearance

Sunlight is walking from the wedding altar. She is wearing a huge, sparkling white gown. That white dress was a symbol of a new era, a new peace.

Her beauty was irresistible, but it was coupled with her victory and power. Sparkling diamond jewelry adorned Sunlight's neck, hands, and feet. These diamonds were not mere ornaments—they were the symbol of the treasury which she had protected from traitors and brought under her own rule.

In her hand was a large bouquet of fragrant white flowers.

Maharaja Hirday's Return

Maharaja Hirday was waiting for Sunlight at the wedding altar. The man who was lying weak in bed three years ago has now regained his old vigor.

He was wearing the traditional King's Dress of the Nexus Empire. Power was evident in the attire, but his eyes held only deep love for Sunlight.

In Hirday's hand was the traditional staff (Golden Carcaz), but now it was not a weapon; it was a witness to their joint rule and history.

Sunlight slowly came and stood before Hirday. Their eyes met. There was no sign of hatred or revenge. There was only the silent acknowledgment of two hearts that had traversed a long, complex path.

Hirday smiled softly and extended his hand. Sunlight took his hand. The new era of the Nexus Empire began—where power bows to love, and the teacher and ruler move forward together toward the future.

Today is the wedding of Sunlight and Hirday. Their union is being celebrated with royal pomp, adhering to all customs, in the most magnificent and large room of the palace. Light from the chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling fell upon Sunlight's white dress and diamond jewelry.

Sunlight was walking toward the altar with slow and firm steps. The train of her huge white gown was extremely long and heavy, proclaiming the royalty of the new era. Behind her, a maid was carefully holding Sunlight's dress, so that the whiteness of the gown would not be soiled on the floor. Whether this maid was Lisa or not is not clear—but she was now engaged in the Queen's official service.

When Sunlight reached Hirday, she paused for a moment in front of the altar.

Hirday was looking at her. Three years ago, their relationship was a cruel bondage, and today, that relationship has turned into a self-imposed contract of love. He placed his Golden Carcaz on the ground and extended his hand toward Sunlight.

Sunlight slightly lowered her bouquet and took Hirday's hand. Their touch was warm, steady.

The priest then looked at them. The ancient oath words of the Nexus Law began to be recited at the altar. That oath was one of love, power, and eternal loyalty to each other.

The Queen's Authority

After the formal ceremony of the wedding, Sunlight and Hirday together walked toward the main gate of the royal palace. Their union was a silent display of power.

Outside, the scene was completely different.

Behind them, the royal palace stood as a symbol of grandeur, but in front, armed military guards were lined up. All these guards were holding rifles/guns, which expressed their military honor and loyalty to the Queen and Maharaja. This was an indication of the strong military power of the Nexus Empire.

Whispers could be heard among the surrounding people. Everyone was speaking German. This suggests that the Nexus Empire is likely influenced by modern European (German) military customs and language.

The military band was then playing a salute tune for them. This was a form of military salute.

A little distance from the gate, a black Royal Rolls-Royce car was waiting, adorned with black royal aristocracy. The car's color—black—was a symbol of their secret power and aristocracy.

Sunlight and Hirday walked past the line of military guards; the sound of their gowns and the thud of boots echoed in the silent respect.

After the car door opened, Sunlight did not delay for a moment and got into the car. She sat in the luxurious seat of the car with her huge gown and diamond jewelry. Hirday also got into the car beside her.

Lang Lebe die Königin!

As Sunlight and Hirday were getting into the royal black Rolls-Royce car, the surrounding military aristocracy was a sight to behold.

Just before the car door closed, Sunlight turned around once. She was standing at the door of the royal car in her huge white gown.

There was a serene, yet victorious smile on her face. That smile was the result of three years of hard rule and personal battle.

Sunlight bid everyone farewell. She waved her hand, and with that smile, she made the people of the Nexus Empire feel the authority and love of their new ruler.

The military guards and other royal officials then began to clap in unison. Their German salute echoed in the palace courtyard: "Lang lebe die Königin! Lang lebe der König!" (Long live the Queen! Long live the King!)

The car door closed. Hirday smiled softly and looked at Sunlight.

"Your victory is complete, Queen," Hirday said. "Now we are free."

The black Rolls-Royce sped away from the palace, leaving behind the royal jubilation and a waiting, unknown destination ahead.
