Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Who the Hell is she?!

Theo continued with the banquet with a little bad mood, but he was slowly coming to terms with his fate.

Although the reputation of the house of Slytherin was not really the most desirable for a young wizard starting a business, it was not a checkmate to Theo. Heck! It wasn't even a check!

He was planning to sell his books with a pen name either way, he just had to be a little careful when revealing his identity and make sure he did not cause any blunders that could be exploited by reporters similar to the likes of Rita Skeeter.

Now, for more short-term plans, the only thing he had to worry about was his integration with the Slytherin House. According to his grandfather, the Ellfire family was not really appreciated in the wizarding world in general.

Considering that a lot of pureblood families, some of them with their children in the Slytherin house, already discriminated against other pureblood families due to their interactions with Muggles, it wouldn't be weird that Theo suffered some of that treatment.

Thinking about the perfect example of purebloods being excluded, Theo looked towards the Gryffindor table, easily spotting several redheads along the table.

Theo's eyes finally settle on the youngest one, who was stuffing his mouth with his new friend, Harry Potter, at his side. In front of them were a brown-haired girl, Hermione Granger, and a completely new person Theo knew nothing about.

She was talking excitedly with the Golden Trio, and they seemed pretty close.

Theo wondered.

Black hair with red-colored strands of hair at the left side of her hair.

No one in the book matched that condition, no one was supposed to be that close with the main trio. Heck! Hermione shouldn't be that close to the boys so early!

'Who the hell is she?!'

This was not something that he was expecting.

He was aware that just by existing, some effects were bound to happen. He was prepared to step up and revert them. But an entire new character appearing out of nowhere and getting themselves acquainted with the main trio?

Sigh

Theo calmed down, there was no need to make a scene, he was still in public.

'I just need to stay on guard and be prepared to fix any mistakes this mysterious girl causes. You will not get in the way of my dream, stranger!'

"Everything alright, Theo?"

Raphael, who was sitting beside him, asked.

"Hm? It's nothing, it's just that I'm a bit worried about being put in Slytherin."

He looked at Theo confused for a second, trying to ascertain the reason for his answer. He quickly gave up.

"Why?"

"Well, for all I know, my family, albeit pure-blooded, is not exactly very well seen by other magic families. I am just a little worried that I will cause problems for my grandfather."

"Hm? Oh! You mentioned something like that on the train."

Even if Theo was a transmigrator, he wasn't going to shy away from opening up, he believed that everyone he met on the train were people he could trust, and therefore he had opened up about his family's situation.

"But, you don't have to worry too much. Do you remember what my sister said?"

Theo looked back at what he remembered the black-haired girl had said.

"You mean that thing about not being recognized?"

"Yeah! Ever since we sat down, although no one has really approached us to talk, it's not like they are actively avoiding us, right? Nor did they seem to even look at us weird. And from what I could see, no one really reacted to the name Ellfire."

"Huh, you are right. I wonder why I didn't notice that."

"Maybe because you were staring at Harry Potter?"

"Hm?"

"Yeah, you were staring so intensely. Are you his fan or something? Not to be that guy, but do you really think that he really defeated You-Know-Who as a baby?"

"I'm not his fan, and I don't know. Magic is a mysterious thing, isn't it? It might have been accidental magic, you know, like one sneezes fire, or another floats or breathes bubbles, he defeated the most feared Dark Lord of our time."

"You think so?"

"That's just a theory."

Of course, Theo knew exactly what had really happened and was completely aware of the spell that Harry's mother, Lily, had placed on him by sheer emotions of love.

It had been quite the conundrum for him, actually. He had once tried to figure it out. But, even if he was able to figure out how to boost certain aspects of a spell with emotion, he was never able to reach that level.

Make flames fiercer with rage. Make water colder with seriousness.

Perhaps he didn't have the necessary magical knowledge to do it, or he simply was forcing the emotions into play when it's supposed to be more of a natural response?

He wasn't sure.

Regardless, he was hungry, and he needed to eat. And it so happened that the most appetizing meal that he ever saw was right in front of him.

As if something had awakened inside of him, he started gulping down the food in front of him at high speeds.

People stared at him in awe or disgust. Theo didn't hear them, totally focused on the meal before him and the sound of Raphael's cheers.

Freya was currently listening to Hermione scolding Ron for trying to talk with his mouthfull.

"Seriously, did no one teach you how to eat at a table? You act like you weren't already stuffing your face in the train!"

"What's that to you, huh? I eat how I want, you are not my mother."

Harry looked back and forth, not knowing what to do. He looked at Freya, desperate for help.

She shrugged, she liked watching the two bantering.

"Besides, I am not the worst one here!"

Hermione threw him a questioning look, he responded by simply pointing behind them.

Both Hermione and Freya turned towards the Slytherin table, where a huge commotion was apparently taking place.

In there, a young boy with bright red hair was stuffing his face at record speed. Although most of the Slytherin girls were stepping away in disgust, a lot of boys had started crowding around the boy, urging him to keep going.

"Pfft-"

Freya let out a small laugh, especially after looking at Hermione, who had an expression of utter disbelief.

"Unbelievable. . ."

Is all she said.
