"This is delicious."

Arthur smiled shyly at the way Natalia's eyes lit up after the very first bite. They had already spent nearly an hour wandering around the mall, laughing at random things, pointing out clothes neither of them would ever wear, and sharing small, comfortable silences that didn't feel awkward at all.

When they finally stopped at another restaurant for lunch, Arthur had been nervous choosing the place. What if she didn't like it? What if it was too simple? Too crowded? Too ordinary?

But Natalia loved it.

And Arthur, watching her enjoy the food he had picked, felt like the happiest person alive.

Maybe it was childish. Maybe it was silly to feel so fulfilled just because someone agreed with him about something as small as food. But to Arthur, it wasn't small. He had always been the kind of person who second-guessed himself. His choices. His opinions. His tastes. He often wondered if they were too plain, too boring, too predictable.
