"Then it's settled....You will live freely. And you'll come back with us...Your worries about your father shall be completely my responsibility," said Jason firmly.

"Wait! Wait! You can't just do this to her!" Beast Boy shouted, stepping forward.

"Raven is one of us!" Cyborg added, voice booming with conviction.

"It is her choice, not yours," Jason replied coldly.

"That's because you didn't offer her another choice," said Nightwing, his voice sharp with accusation.

Kori stepped closer, her eyes softening as she looked at Raven. "You're one of us, right Raven? You don't want to leave us? Right?"

Jason raised his hand, his patience thinning. "Listen here...I'm not taking her away from you, enough with this dramatic crap. I'm only making her join me so I can protect her and the world at the same time. If you all want to be her friends, be my guests—I don't really care. However, she sticks to me."

"You can't just declare that! She's one of us—it is our responsibility to protect her as well!" Nightwing snapped.

Jason's eyes narrowed. "I'm well aware...but are you willing to kill her if need be?"

The words struck like a blade.

"What?!" Kori gasped, turning on Jason.

"You heard me," Jason barked. "Are you ready to strike her down the day she turns on all of us and unleashes Trigon? Are you all ready for such a challenge?"

Silence. The Titans froze, no one daring to respond.

Except Nightwing. "We'll find another solution..." he muttered.

Jason smirked. "Okay...Sure, you do that. I don't mind. In fact, I'll even support you. But in the meanwhile, she stays with me. You are her friends, we all know you don't have the guts to strike her down. Of course others in the League will want her either in jail or left here...like John wanted. My choice is the only one that can let her live a free life without worry. If you are truly her friends, then respect her choice."

They all wanted to protest. They all burned to argue. But how could they? Everything Jason said was fact.

And then Raven rose slowly, her voice trembling but resolute."Guys...I...agree with him. I cannot go on like this. I don't trust myself enough to be by your side. If I am to become evil...I'd rather be far away from you. I wouldn't want to ever hurt you...so I will stick with him."

"Raven, you don't even know him! Jason...he's...he is—" Nightwing started, but Jason cut him off.

"I'm a what? A killer? Sure, yeah. I kill villains, and I will keep doing so to the day I die. So what? Here she is right now—easiest kill ever. None of you here could stop me, yet I chose her life. I don't kill freely, fool. Unlike you all, I ain't no hypocrite. I punish accordingly."

Constantine let out a slow drag of smoke. "Just drop it, kid. The lass chose. I'll trust you on this, Jason...and I'll trust you to strike her down before we're all doomed."

"And I will trust you'll help her become stronger...and escape her father," said Zatanna, her eyes steady.

Jason gave a curt nod. "Well that settles it then. Let's—"

But then he froze. His eyes widened. Raven's did too.

"GET DOWN!" she screamed.

In an instant, the top half of the building was annihilated, obliterated by a massive red beam of pure destruction. Masonry rained down like meteors as everyone threw themselves to the ground.

And as the smoke cleared...the sky revealed the monster behind it.

A colossal figure towered above them, each step shaking the earth. Six dark eyes burned with malevolent fire. Six horns twisted upward like blackened spires. His skin glowed like molten rock, red fury radiating from every inch of his titanic frame. He stood taller than ten skyscrapers stacked atop each other, his very presence crushing the air around him.

The living embodiment of evil itself.

Trigon the Terrible.

.....

"Raven, my child… you've finally returned to where you belong," Trigon's voice thundered with a disturbing warmth, like a father greeting his lost daughter. But then his face twisted, eyes burning with fury.

"DID I ASK YOU TO RETURN? YOU ARE TO REMAIN ON EARTH AND OPEN THE GATEWAY, YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT!"

Raven froze, but Jason didn't.

"Everyone, RUN!" she shouted.

Nobody moved. They stood frozen, entranced by the demonic presence towering above them—until Jason roared, his voice breaking through the fear.

"RUN, YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!"

Without hesitation he grabbed Raven, vaulting them off the crumbling floor as the others finally snapped out of their trance and scattered in panic. Jason carried her, darting rooftop to rooftop, his body moving with inhuman speed as the city shattered beneath Trigon's wrath.

He opened comms mid-sprint."John—open a gateway, far from here. Guard it with everything. I'll lead this bastard away… then I'll try to get Raven to you."

Jason's lungs burned, but he didn't slow. Raven clung to him, silent, the weight of her father's presence suffocating her.

A thunderous boom detonated to their left. Jason's instincts screamed—he veered right as a skyscraper disintegrated into dust.

Trigon's six eyes glowed like dying suns, unleashing beams that carved through the skyline. Superman's heat vision was a candle compared to this annihilation. Entire blocks vaporized as if they'd never existed.

Jason thought fast, heart pounding.'I dodged one… I can dodge another. But how long? He doesn't even need to chase me. With his size, he can erase me just by spamming those beams until I'm dust.'

"Raven!" he barked. "You said your magic can hurt him, right?"

"Yes… but only mentally, not physically. Against him like this… I don't know if it'll work."

"We don't have a choice. When I say, channel it all into me—engulf me with it. Got it?"

She nodded, fear and resolve clashing in her eyes. Jason adjusted his course, circling Trigon, pulling himself into range for one decisive strike.

Trigon's voice shook the heavens, every word tearing through the city like a curse."Raven… why are you with these pitiful insects? Did I not forbid you from touching such trash? Do you need discipline again? Perhaps slaughtering your little friends will remind you of your purpose—of why I MADE YOU!"

Another beam tore toward them. Jason slid under collapsing debris, grit and fire scorching his skin. He was close now. Close enough.

"NOW, RAVEN! GIVE ME EVERYTHING!"

Her magic flooded him—dark, cold, endless. Jason shut his eyes, letting it fill his veins, sear into his soul. He formed the sign with his hands, voice echoing like a curse to the world itself.

"Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine."

Reality shattered.

Darkness swallowed the city. The shrine rose—silent, endless, decorated in skulls, dripping with malice. Jason stood within it, Raven gripping his back, channeling her abyss into him. Facing them was Trigon—the embodiment of Hell itself.

Jason's eyes narrowed. His voice was a death sentence."Die."

The world screamed.

Millions of cuts erupted, swarming Trigon like a storm of razors, each one amplified by Raven's dark magic, each one aimed to kill a god. The earth trembled under the slaughtering force—yet Trigon stood untouched.

Jason's heart sank.'Nothing…?'

Trigon wasn't even bleeding. His body gleamed, encased in a thin veil, a barrier mere centimeters from his skin. Every cut was deflected before it could land.

Jason's eyes widened.'This… This isn't immunity. It's a Simple Domain…'

But no—he realized instantly. This wasn't some technique of jujutsu sorcerers. This was divine authority, the shield of a god.

Trigon chuckled, his voice rolling through the shrine like thunder."Interesting… this insect of yours, Raven, wields power akin to godhood. But you forget—I AM TRIGON. To raise such power against me is not bravery… it is suicide."

He opened his eyes, unleashing a beam of destruction directly into Jason's Domain.

Jason's Slashes slashed furiously, cutting apart the god-beam, holding the attack at bay. His shrine groaned under the weight, walls cracking, blood dripping from its skulls. But Jason held firm, refusing to kneel.

Raven clung tighter, her voice shaking."Your attack failed… what now?"

Jason's jaw clenched. Sweat and blood streaked his face."There's… one thing left. I don't know if it'll save us, but it's our only shot."

He reached into his pocket, pulling out a single, cursed relic.

A Sukuna Finger.

He crushed it in his palm, consuming the curse whole. His body convulsed, his veins burning black as his system lit up violently.
