Jason leaned back in his chair, the faint glow of his system panel reflecting in his eyes. For once, he let himself breathe in the weight of it all—the grind in Azarath, the endless hours sharpening himself against shadows, and now the meteoric rise of the Pantheon. All of it had carved him into something far beyond the man who once stood trembling before Superman. Twice as strong now. Twice as dangerous. And still climbing.
His gaze stopped on a new entry.
{Ten Shadows Technique}
Jason blinked, then leaned forward, rereading the words. His lips curled into a grin.
"I can't believe this… I get access to Megumi's technique, just like that?" His voice was half-disbelieving, half-exultant.
The description burned into his vision:
{Ten Shadows Technique: After incarnating through Megumi's body, Sukuna gained access to the prized inherited technique of the Zenin Clan, allowing him to summon ten different shikigami.}
Jason chuckled, the sound low, dangerous, but full of thrill. "Of course… of course it would be this one."
Without wasting another moment, he stood, his shadow stretching unnaturally across the room. His hand snapped down as he whispered the command.
"Divine Dogs."
The air around him warped. From the black pool at his feet, two forms materialized, stepping forth with silent authority. A twin pair of wolves emerged—one a spectral white, radiant and untamed, the other a shadowed beast of midnight, sleek and feral. Their paws made no sound as they padded onto the floor, yet their presence filled the room like rolling thunder.
Jason crouched, his hand brushing over their heads. Their fur was solid, real beneath his touch, yet pulsed faintly with cursed energy. They leaned into his hand with a growl of acknowledgment.
He smirked. "Glad they don't look like Sukuna's ugly variants… but I guess if I want that, I could force it."
.....
A week later, Jason stood with his hands behind his back, watching history unfold before his eyes.
The Pantheon's space base—sleek, massive, bristling with technology leagues ahead of anything the Watchtower ever had—was about to come online. Special boom tubes calibrated to different frequencies, double the scanner range of the Justice League's orbital array, observation systems stacked on observation systems. A crown in orbit. A fortress in the stars.
Beside him, Diana folded her arms, her gaze fixed on the view. "Well… what are we going to call it?"
Jason blinked. "We're naming it?" He scratched the back of his head.
"Well, of course. The Justice League's was called the Watchtower." She smirked faintly. "So ours should be something cooler."
Jason chuckled. "My naming sense isn't exactly praised lately, but… Olympus? Asgard? Something along those lines?"
"Ugh. No." Diana shook her head, a glint in her eye. "I have something better. Elysium. A resting place for heroes and gods alike. A watchful eye above the Earth."
Jason tilted his head, then smiled. "Oh… I like that. Elysium it is."
He turned toward Adam Strange, one of the League's best cosmic minds and now a Pantheon recruit. Jason's tone sharpened. "All right. Launch it."
Adam nodded, fingers flying over the control panel. A hum reverberated through the chamber. Then, like the awakening of a giant, systems came online one by one.
Elysium was alive.
Teleportation hubs activated. God's Eye, the AI designed to tap into every public camera on Earth in real-time, blinked awake with clinical precision. Solar system–wide scanners extended their reach, locking onto everything from stray meteors to deep-space anomalies.
Teleport beams flared as Pantheon members began flooding into Elysium, testing its systems. Exactly as planned—Jason wanted to see how it handled a mass evacuation or an instant mobilization.
"Well?" Jason asked.
Adam studied the readouts, then grinned. "Perfect. All members transferred without delay. The system didn't even strain. Elysium can teleport up to three thousand people every five to ten seconds."
Jason's smile was sharp, approving. "Good. That means in a crisis, this place doubles as an evacuation hub."
But before the relief could settle, a sharp alarm cut through the command deck. One of the scientists spun in his chair, frantically typing. "Sir! We… we might have a problem!"
Jason and Adam rushed over. The scientist pointed at his screen—data scrolling so fast it blurred.
"It looks like a glitch," Jason muttered, frowning. "A moon? Moving into our solar system?"
Adam's eyes narrowed. He leaned closer, then froze. His face went pale. "Oh no…"
Jason glanced at him, brow raised. "What? It's just a system hiccup, right?"
Adam shook his head. His voice dropped to a grim whisper. "No, sir. This isn't a glitch. I've heard about this before—rumors, myths—but I didn't want to believe it. If this reading is true… then it's real."
Jason's tone hardened. "Speak plainly. What are we looking at?"
Adam swallowed. "Not any moon, sir. Long ago, in another galaxy, there was a civilization so advanced their technology dwarfed everything we know. They destroyed themselves, but before they did… they built something. A weapon. A moving world."
Jason's eyes narrowed. "A moving world…"
Adam's expression turned grave. "It was seized later by a tyrant named Mongul. He called it WarWorld. A moon-sized warship bristling with weapons powerful enough to level planets. It repairs itself. It carries armies. And it only needs one ruler to command it."
The room fell into silence. The alarms still blinked red. The data still screamed across the screen. But all Jason could hear was the weight of Adam's words.
Finally, Jason exhaled slowly. His voice was calm, but the storm beneath it was undeniable.
"And you think this WarWorld… has just entered our solar system?"
Adam looked him dead in the eyes. "Yes… sir."
Jason turned on his heel. "Call an emergency meeting."
