[Rosie's POV]
I rolled my eyes, wanting to act sassy but deep in her heart, I was screaming with joy.
I thought he ghosted me.
"I don't, but, strangely, you're the only one not eating what I prepared with my heart"
"To impress me or the delegates?"
He spoke in a cold tone, and somehow, I hate his seriousness. Can he just be all lost and excited?
That question was tactical but then, avoiding his melting gaze, I said;
"For everyone"
He heaved a sigh and dumped his cutlery.
"I don't need to eat, I'm fed up with you by my side"
"What?"
He shifted his gaze from me and faced Hera.
"Indeed Hera, your contributions haven't gone unnoticed. You're an invaluable member"
Hera blushes while I cuss at him. Now I'm not existing to him...is that a smile on his lips?
He's smiling at her. I should be happy, but why am I burning? He just classified me as an ache yet he wants me close by.
Snap out of it Rosie, it's just his nature. He wants me upset and I think I'd pass that.
