[Harry's POV]
He lets out a sigh, one that left me jinxed.
"So you're real," he pressed on, his voice as crooked as he must be.
"What have you done to Sam?"
There's a chuckle in the background as my palm clung to the phone like I'd almost smash it.
"I guess you're opposite the tale I heard. Why would you be worried over a worthless jerk?" He pressed on and now, I'm hearing footsteps and something that sounded more like a kick.
Sam grunted, which was a hint that he was alive but in pain.
"What do you want, Austin?"
His chuckle grew wild as his voice cracked over the phone.
"Partnership!" He bluntly said with a growl as he seemed like he'd be getting ahead of himself.
I scoffed as my free hand clenched into a fist, and then I closed my eyes briefly.
That wolf should be dead.
"For what exactly?" I said bouncing to the door as I grabbed the handle of the door, seething with anger.
"I think we should meet and talk privately," he suggested as his voice sounded muffled.
